Great old fashioned hotel with an amazing pool and decent gym. Book on trip rather than hotel itself as its considerably cheaper

The Hotel is old but fully decorated with Lanna culture things, it's fantastic. The hotel location is located in a famous nightlife activity for travelers.

Recently stayed at Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel in Chiang Mai. The location of the hotel was not ideal, situated quite far to various attractions. Fair to say that the room was good and provided the basic amenities, delicious breakfast, though it felt a bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, some areas of improvement could include modernizing the facilities and updating the decor to enhance the overall guest experience, especially there are leakage near bathroom area, it definitely has potential to be vintage hotel if improvement made

Disgusting.. place should be shut down, Huge hotel and they can't keep up with the matinence. The place looks, smells and seems like it hasn't been cleaned since the 80s, The rooms where dusty, swimming pool was dirty. Gym equipment didn't work. Avoid unless you want to be left dissatisfied. Staff were unhelpful and rude too.

This hotel is huge but still has it's charm. The hotel seems old/nostalgic and unique but has everything you need. The interior of the rooms is really appealing and the rooms are spacious. Air con is working so you have evertyhing you need for a comfortable stay.
I have never seen such a huge pool in a hotel.

Old hotel that I never seen in my life, power outage at midnight 2-3 time 🥲actually I booked for 3night but I stay only 1 night coz make me feel so scared! The good thing is service they so kind ,anyway I don’t recommend to stay here.

Old charm hotel which I’m sure has seen its glorious days. I can imagine celebrities and dignitaries staying and enjoying this huge hotel with its glass ceiling where the sun rays brighten up the hotel lobby. The circular design feels classy where you can see everyone room from every floor right down to the lobby.
The rooms are big and surprisingly everything in my room works including the bathtub. The carpets are clean and the traditional wood carving in the room brings out the charm of northern Thailand.
I have planned my next vacation and have booked Lotus Hotel already.
I will tell my friends and family about this old grand dame, The Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew.
