The free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating. There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm. There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

Zgodnie z rezerwacją, filtrem i zdjęciami, w tej lokalizacji jest basen. TU NIE MA BASENU. Zarezerwowaliśmy ten hotel tylko ze względu na udogodnienia i widok. Dowiedzieliśmy się o tym dopiero po zameldowaniu i zapytaniu o godziny otwarcia basenu, więc było za późno, aby anulować nasz hotel. Więc po prostu zmarnowaliśmy noc i pieniądze w miejscu, w którym nigdy bym się nie zatrzymał. Nie mieliśmy basenu, a zgodnie z rezerwacją w podróży parking kosztował 78 USD, ale po przyjeździe było więcej. Nie jestem zadowolony

Be careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members. A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones. We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. Hope the information is helpful for you.

A very good hotel. Housekeeping was done daily, and it was very clean. The towels were pristine white, and the bed was comfortable, though I found the pillows a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was a little pricey; they had fresh-cut fruit, but it wasn't very tasty. The lobby didn't offer 24-hour coffee, but the in-room coffee was pretty good.

We booked a room that unfortunately was for the wrong dates through a third party. We were told by the third party that they would refund us but that the hotel had to release our reservation. We called them immediately after realizing the dates were wrong which was within an hour. The reservation was for two days from then. The hotel said they would not cancel it. They charged us almost $600 for a room we did not stay in and called in advance to explain our situation. They also did not allow for us to change the days to the days we were actually looking for. While the hotel is lovely and the staff was pleasant even delivering the bad news I won’t be looking to book with them again.

Ten hotel był najtańszy spośród wszystkich, w których zatrzymywaliśmy się podczas naszej 24-dniowej podróży po USA. Nie mieliśmy wobec niego dużych oczekiwań, ale po zameldowaniu uznaliśmy, że jest całkiem w porządku, choć nie dorównywał hotelom w pozostałych sześciu miastach. Głównym problemem był niewielki rozmiar pokoju – był to najmniejszy pokój, jaki mieliśmy w siedmiu miastach. Dla dwóch osób było w nim dość ciasno, nie dało się swobodnie poruszać jednocześnie. Wystrój pokoju był prosty, ale było bardzo czysto, co jest dużym plusem. W pokoju znajdowała się mała lodówka, co było bardzo wygodne. Jedynym minusem było to, że hotel był zbyt daleko od stacji metra. W dniu przyjazdu do Chicago, ciągnięcie walizek ze stacji metra do hotelu zajęło nam ponad 10 minut i było naprawdę męczące. Dlatego w dniu wyjazdu na lotnisko, skorzystaliśmy z autobusu tuż obok hotelu, a dopiero potem przesiedliśmy się do metra. Było to o wiele wygodniejsze niż ponowne holowanie walizek na stację metra.

The room was super clean and spacious. Cleaning ladies were very nice. The girls at the front desk were super friendly, some guys not so much. If you want to cook in the room, you can request some cooking pots, but they were overused and scratched. Their free breakfast is decent. Very nice gym with a peloton bike. Overall, I think this is good option for longer time stay.

I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.

The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.
