This is our 3rd stay during the Chris**as break as there are some great walks close by. The food is superb and service is fabulous. Not a big choice for vegetarian diets. The room was again spotless with good amenities although felt in need of a little TLC this time. All in all we would definitely recommend staying.

Wonderful stay at this unique find. Came about it by accident when looking for somewhere to stay when visiting family in the area. Beautiful room that was like home from home and pub was very cosy with log fires and eclectic array of furniture and ornaments. Very tasty breakfast, we will definitely return. Hosts were very friendly and were very attentive

This is a great pub with just 3 rooms and I would recommend to book one if you have the opportunity. The pub locals were very friendly, the food (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the landlady. My wife and I had a great two night stay.

We couldn't have been happier with this stay. The inn is everything you want when you book a quaint English country inn. Absolutely every person their was charming and friendly and particularly the owners; a lovely couple. The bed was SO comfy. It's clearly a fav with locals so book those dinner reservations early, it fills up and for a good reason. The food was delicious! We definitely will return!

We enjoyed a two night stay, Monday to Wednesday and ate in the Lamb both evenings. Room 2 was clean, well appointed and comfortable albeit lacking daylight. Nice touches included chocolates, boiled sweets and biscuits. Hair straighteners were also discovered! There is plenty of parking. The few staff we encountered were so friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The evening menu was extensive, well priced and featuring pub classics and imaginative starters and mains. Two courses were plenty even for our hearty appetites. Breakfast was ordered the night before offering a choice of ‘full English’ or smoked salmon and scrambled egg. Enough to last all day! The Lamb is situated at Chinley and is very convenient for gems of the Peak District including Chatsworth, Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton and the Snake Pass. In summary, a lovely short break made all the better by the friendly staff and excellent food.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Lamb Inn and of both occasions we've been very happy with staff's friendliness and accommodation. The welcoming a**osphere in the Inn with the roaring log fire and excellent evening meal and breakfast make for an enjoyable stay. The room is comfortable with all the facilities one requires in an excellent setting within the Peak District.

Absolutely amazing stay. Staff were amazing and room was more like a cottage. All amenities attended for during stay.
Food was sensational, fresh, tasty and the breakfast was simply wow.
Definitely be returning!
