Chongqing NASITING Hotel (Monument to the people's Liberation Hongyadong Store)

The hotel is in excellent location just a few minutes walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Clock Tower, that makes us decided to booked this accommodation which claimed to be a hotel but in fact is more like a service apartment. The staffs at the reception counter were friendly, helpful and informative. The type of room we booked was “Extreme Floating Island Twin Room” which mentioned in Trip.com the room size is 38sqm to 43sqm. To our disappointment, when we check into our room, we felt that the room size is much smaller that was mentioned😫😫. To add up to our disappointment, the access by lifts to the rooms on each floor absolutely have no security to the guests at all. Outsiders can easily access to any of the floors without problem. On several occasions we bumped into deliveries guys in the lift with us. To make things worse, each floor has a public toilet outside with the door always open in which the staffs claimed it for the convenience of the guests!!! I think is a cheap excuse!! I guessed is more for their hotel staffs and cleaners on each floor. In my opinion, if the guests can make it to their room floor during urgency to the toilet, why not use their own room toilet?? for more comfort, cleaner and more hygienic correct?? How do you feel as a guest where you have to pass by a public toilet with door always open each time you go in and out of your room?? Very disappointed with this strange set up.

Good location, easy to get local food and hi-tech room service. Hotel room is clean, staffs are welcoming and courteous.

Near jiefangbei, 10 minutes walk to metro station, near Hong ya Dong, front desk staffs are good. Room not bad, smart toilet, smart home facility, room is clean but a bit weird to have a squat toilet at the corridor which is just right next to our room, each time we passed by, the toilet door always keep open, until we have to tell the front desk, they quickly lock it only for 3 days. The 4th day, the toilet door wide open again. There is no sign board for this hotel, very difficult to find. It is in a business building, there is a security guard at the front desk but I don’t think is useful, each time you enter the building, she or he does not even look at you. And anybody can enter the lift without tapping the room card. Quite a number of restaurants  nearby. Our room opposite the cleaner’s room which was quite noisy at times. Outside the building also quite noisy where  construction is going on but after closing the room window, it is fine. Regarding the laundry room which is on the 15th floor, washing machine is fine but dryer is hopeless, can’t dry clothes in a hour, front desk said at least 2 hrs plus to dry the clothes. For our experience, dry the cloth for one hour in the dryer first, then hang the clothes in the room, on the room heater, the clothes will dry faster.

Excellent location right on the pedestrian shopping area of Jiafunbei area and short walk to several attractions and between 2 metros which very much connect to different attractions. The room is very clean and well designed, good beddings and pillows plus high tech. Reception is managed by young staff are cheerful and always willing to help, even walking me to the pick up area for my day tour to Dazu Stone Carving caves. Fully recommended !

Very good location near Jiefangbei. The staff here are youthful and kind to every guest. The room was surprisingly high-tech, with AI controls. There was just one small issue: it was a bit hard to find because there was no signboard; it was listed under the name "商务楼" (Business Building), and the check-in counter was located on the 13th floor. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I will definitely come back again!

This is a great hotel. The location is perfect, near everything, local attractions and two metro lines. The staff is super helpful, they add you into WeChat and solve all your questions and problems. The rooms are big and clean. Overall 10/10, nothing to complain. Shout-out to Anita and another staff member that helped me retrieve a forgotten item on the room.
