Ascott Raffles City Chongqing

Only need to show passport to check in and pay a deposit. Checkout was less than a min. Conveniently nside the shopping mall and just beside the MRT. My one bedroom studio is fantastic but too bad i didn’t have much time to spend in the room besides sleep and doing laundry. 😂 View from level 42.

My stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was deeply disappointing and unsatisfactory. I had booked a deluxe suite expecting a city view, as indicated in the listing. Instead, I was given a room facing an office block, with such close mutual visibility that privacy concerns were unavoidable. When I raised this issue, I was informed of a "misunderstanding" in the listing and was told that to receive the room I had initially expected, I would need to pay an additional 30%. This situation was particularly frustrating, given that the oversight was entirely on the hotel's part, with no fault of my own. Moreover, I was mistakenly accused by the front reception of playing loud music one night, despite the fact that I wasn't playing any music. This unfounded complaint, combined with the lack of initiative to verify the claim before contacting me, highlighted a significant lapse in service quality. Given this experience, I advise future travelers to consider establishments that better prioritize customer satisfaction. Based on my positive experiences, the Intercontinental at Raffles City Chongqing offers a more reliable alternative.

Nice good hotel, nice suite apar**ent. Soft bed good view. Downstairs is full of shopping and restaurants.

The serviced apar**ent is well located. Room was clean with great room service. Mall downstairs was very convenient.

Excellent room and staff. Room bigger and with a nice kitchen, laundry, and dinner table. Perfect area to walk around and astonishing view of the two rivers. They helped me with items that I forgot in the hotel, even call me and send to my city.

Eight members of our family travel with us. Reserving a Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite Location: Floors 24–34; Maximum 4 Person(s) One king-size bed and one super king-size bed It is located in the ideal area. on the ground floor near the mall for shopping. Simple transportation to other city attractions. Kindly care to put my bag back for me when I forget it in the lobby. Very comfortable bed and clean room. The accommodation has all the necessities and is large and clean.

Okay hotel. We basically had no view so a bit disappointed for the price. Breakfast is okay. Overall not the most impressive

This is an amazing hotel if you’re looking to feel fancy. It’s located right above a beautiful shopping mall and a subway station. The decor in the lobby and room is nice. The staff is very friendly and some of them spoke English. The room itself was amazing. It was basically a 1 bedroom apar**ent. It also had a combo washer/dryer which was SO helpful to me as I had been traveling for a while and needed to do laundry. This hotel is very comfortable. They have a 24 hr room service robot that you can order using WeChat. The in-room dining service had good food. I ordered dumplings and fried rice that were both great. One feedback I have is that it would be great if ordering room service was done digitally instead of calling. I tried to order a second time but had an embarrassing moment of language barrier so I didn’t order. I also had trouble using my Visa card to pay for the in room dining service.

Clean & spacious , staff friendly ( able to speak English ) & helpful, walking distance to metro ( staff will even guide you on how to get to the station ) - lovely view
