The hotel is centrally located in a touristy area called GuanYinQiao around 300 meters from the subway station. The staff at the reception spoke some English and used the translation app as well. They are accommodating and friendly. The room assigned to me was on the 31st floor so using the glass elevator to enjoy the city view was special but not for those who fear heights.
There's a food street nearby if you want local delicacies, plus McDonald's, Starbucks, and Pizza Hut too. The Paradise Walk shopping area where the Apple Store is, is a bit of a walk up towards where the Ninth Street bars are.
All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Receptionist was very nice, talented, joyful. Just took few minutes to check-in. Moreover she recognised me as their old customer.

Comfortable bed and a pretty good location. It's close to a subway station and lots of food options nearby; try Xiao Mian and Liang Mian! No English spoken at reception but what do you expect in China?
I wish the receptionists were trained how to properly check-in foreign guests. Nobody ever knows and what should take a couple of minutes ends up taking 20-30 mins with additional calls and visits to the room. It's ridiculous. To be fair, they were apologetic about it the next day and gave me a free keyring but this gets grating when you're traveling through China for an extended period of time. Chinese guests can check in within two or three minutes, but it can take half an hour for foreigners. It's driving away foreign guests.

Central location but not a very nice area. Room furniture was dirty and quite marked. Windows we’re dirty. Had a nice bath. The service was good but they took a long time to check us in due to requirements around registering us because we’re foreigners. They also asked for a deposit but we refused to pay and they accepted this. Overall the hotel is fine but I wouldn’t stay there again.
