The Redwood Hotel was in a perfect location for me in Christchurch. I was here for personal reasons in that part of town (not siteseeing).
The Reception team were very accommodating to my late arrival & communicated clearly about the lock box & room number. Even had a backup scenario on the chance that I didn’t receive their earlier email. Thank you.
They also left a light and heater on in the room to make it more comfortable when I arrived.
I was able park right outside my unit (free) and managed to get a takeout meal in the attached restaurant 20 mins before the it closed for the night. Very tasty & generous portions.

Ok hotel however quite old and not the cleanest. Could see stains on sofa. Nice touch of having a glass of wine provided.
