Clean and quiet hotel with lovely staff. Beautiful location for a short stay with great restaurants close to the hotel and also close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend!

This hotel is situated on the new Saxon Square shopping area just behind the High Street. It has no restaurant, but numerous shops, bars and cafes are in the immediate vicinity. It is also close to bus stops, and a short walk from the railway station. Despite the central location, it was very quiet inside, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Immaculately clean room. Good furnishings. Clean fresh towels and bed linen. Comfotable beds. Close to all amenities. Superb value for money. Fresh and clean. Did not order the breakfast but there is a fab coffee shop next door and small cafe yards from the accommodation.

Rooms small albeit clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. Downside - shower tiny, with a curtain and no bath mat so water went over the floor. Tiny TV. Had to ask for a hairdryer. Overall ok for a flying visit. However - what let it down was the view - through a small window over a flat roof to a wall and other room windows . Really felt like being in a prison cell. I explained I’m claustrophobic but was told the rooms are allocated automatically and can’t be changed. Never ever, ever, again. 🥺

The hotel is well situated for the town, very quiet inside and out. Well maintained and comfortable. Shops, pubs and restaurants very close by. We parked in Mayors Mead car park which is about a ten minute walk away, but there are other car parks closer by. Really good stay.

Lovely atmosphere! The staff is very helpful, especially Sravani (excuse me if I’ve spelled it wrong) The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Thank you, everyone—please keep up the great work! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Damp seats, WiFi up the creek and door card keys that didn’t work after 1 use. Not impressed, which is a shame because it is nice little town
