We booked a last minute stay here to rest before continuing to our final destination the next day and we were so impressed. We arrived late at night and the staff was so friendly and kind. The room was really clean and the beads were so comfortable. Their lobby/lounge/cafe area was so cute and fun.
Unfortunately we did not try anything from the cafe but it all looked really good and clean and they also offered 40% off discount on all their items (snacks,coffee, food) I don’t live close but if we were to ever be around the area again without a doubt we would stay here. We felt so welcomed and safe.
P.s loved how all staff we encountered spoke Spanish.

Very affordable/convenient and close to downtown area. Parking is free and plenty of spots. Area feels safe and friendly.

The staff at the hotel and the cafe were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our flight in was delayed by 4 hours and we didn’t end up getting there until around 4am. The staff at the front desk were so kind, made check in quick and easy and offered us refreshments since we had been traveling all day. 10/10 would recommend and we definitely will be staying there next time we visit the west coast!

The staff are so friendly and they let me check in early since I arrived earlier than expected. So refreshing to have such an easy going experience - especially coming from the city. Keep it up Rambler staff - I enjoy it here!

I likes the friendly staff at the front desk, the cleaning staff, the outdoors pool on the sunny days and the trolley station 2 blocks away.

We loved staying here! It is such a cute space, the staff is very friendly, and it was extremely clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable for our needs. Parking in front of our room. We were there on a beautiful day so it was nice to sit by the pool later in the day when we were done with our other plans for the day. Lots of chairs. No microwave or coffee pot in room so be prepared. There’s an on-site cafe to go get a coffee if you want one though. They give you 10% off for staying at the Rambler.

I was priced out of downtown hotels but needed to be close enough to go in during the day. I had low expectations, given the price and motel status, but the Rambler exceeded my expectations and then some. At first glance, this is a fixed up old motel but it's more than that--every detail has been updated in the rooms, pool area, and lobby/restaurant. The staff were exceedingly friendly, and the food (which you get a steep discount on when staying there!) was great. I walked to the train each day and felt safe. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
