Fantastic!! From the moment we arrived until we departed. Reception staff were so welcoming genuinely interested. We were greeted by a young man who made our check in super easy. 2 ladies at the front counter also made us welcome. Acknowledged the whole family and had a chat. All 3 had amazing customer service. Parking was safe and secure and easy to enter and exit. The apartment was very spacious. So well maintained and clean. Could not fault a thing. Loved every part of it and will definitely be back when we visit Melbourne.
Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy.
Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections.
Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment.
None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests.
FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building.
The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful.
In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross.
I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind.
The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.
We had a unreal stay at The StandardX in Fitzroy, Melbourne. First and foremost I have to thank all the staff. Azar, Charlie, Jan, all the duty managers were fantastic I'm so sorry if I forgot anyone! This place is perfect for couples, singles and friend groups. The rooftop is amazing with the best views of the city and Fitzroy and the fact you can pop down to the gift shop and restock your own mini bar is a huge perk. You can even buy perfumes and gifts and the decor of the whole place is just chefs kiss. Rooms are comfortable, cute and always so incredibly clean. Right opposite Rose st Markets on the weekend. Incredible restaurant Bang downstairs. The music playing throughout the hotel is great, really sets the vibe. I love this place. We'll be back. Our new favourite in Melbourne.

Very clean and hygienic, praise, will choose this homestay next time, recommend friends around you to live, really super comfortable, the environment is good, the service attitude is very good.
great location, walk to restaurants. easy underground parking ($35). the room was clean. very small, and a bit dark due to black kitchen and cabinets, plus not a lot of natural light. next time I'd ask for an exterior room with a balcony door that opens. Our door did not open and the front desk person said our room didn't include an opening door (really??). But, for the location it's a great place to stay. right in the middle of collingville and fitzwood.
I found this coliving space during my F1 trip. The overall facilities are simple, functional, reasonably priced, and the bed is very comfortable. Although the room is small, it has everything you need. There is also a shared space and kitchen facilities. The work area in the lobby is also very pleasant. It is a practical choice. I recommend it for business trips and family trips. There are also parks nearby for exercise and leisure.

It is equipped with a stove, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a bowl and a pot. It is very convenient. I bought six boxes of eggs in a small supermarket and burned them myself. The hotel has no breakfast to eat on the street, in the supermarket.
The room is large, the bed is not small, no problem for two adults and one child. The hotel is a bit away from the city center, but for those of us who like to measure the city with footsteps, we not only walked to Chinatown, but also to the Wei Ma market (a taxi cost about 10 Australian dollars, called Didi 8 Australian dollars). The reason for the flight to the hotel is very early, and it is not possible to check in early. This is not as flexible as domestic hotels, which is very common in Australia.
