The location is excellent and the service is attentive. The restaurant below the hotel is actually a Michelin restaurant. It's great to have a drink in the evening and the drinks are not expensive! The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the train station, right by the lake, close to the church and various attractions in the old town, and convenient for surrounding facilities such as dining and shopping. The hotel rooms are also very clean and tidy, and the service is in place.

Open the balcony window, the beautiful Lake Lucerne jumps into the eyes, the comfortable big bed, and the drinks in the bar, the beautiful reception and waiters. It is very convenient to get on the yacht in District 7 opposite the hotel. It is recommended to catch the last one at 17:00 every day, so that you can feel the beauty of the sunset. When you go out of the hotel to the left, there will be a good clothing store, all of which are new designs from Germany and Italy. Girls will be satisfied! Tax refund is available. When you go out of the hotel to the right, you can walk to the Chapel Bridge, and after crossing it, you can take the City Train and take a walk.

Amazing hotel near Luzerne train station. Many bakery nearby. Hotel staff was friendly and kind, provided toiletries and water. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. Very short walk to the old town area which was great!

Added 23 euros at the counter to upgrade to a room with a balcony facing the river.
Bed: The bedding is clean and hygienic, and the white quilt cover has a bumpy feel. It looks very pleasant to cover and is very comfortable. The mattress is firm and supportive, which is our favorite type;
Bathroom: relatively large, with wet and dry separation in the shower, and the toilet is clean;
Balcony: Go back to the room at night and sit on the balcony for a while, very comfortable and relaxing;
Front desk: The service staff is friendly and able to coordinate according to some of our requirements;
Overall very satisfied!

The room is not big. Ancient building. In the old town, it is very sensational. Especially you can see the scenery of the water tower covered bridge in the morning and evening. It is a 3-minute walk from the pier and the train station.

The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

GGuest UserI only stayed for one night as a stopover, but the hotel is very close to the station, and I have already arrived when I got off the bus and crossed the road. There is no air-conditioning in winter, but opening the windows is good enough! The room as a whole is so clean! The staff at the front desk are very kind and answer all questions! And the hotel is 5 miles away from the scenic spots, just walking distance! Moreover, a small supermarket is opposite the hotel, and it only takes a few steps to buy snacks! And there is a D restaurant on the lower floor of the subway station! Overall, it is highly recommended for travelers who want to catch the train the next day.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. The breakfast provided was good, offering a decent variety of options to start the day.
While everything was generally positive, the only minor drawback was the slightly limited check-in hours, so make sure to plan your arrival accordingly.
Overall, I would highly recommend Lucerne Youth Hostel for its great location, cleanliness, and friendly service.

KKCcccccccccCentrally located in a quiet street in the city centre near the main train station ; stylish renovation of the hotel and functional kitchenette in the room I stayed (can you imagine there is a dish washer in the room ?😂and every day the housekeeper used it for our dirty dishes); laundry room on the first room and cozy cafe on the ground floor; reasonable price considering a Swiss standard; overall, excellent (input the confirmation number from trip.com and your name when you need to do the self check in at the entrance indoors; the door is closed and looks locked but actually you can open it 😂) ; will book it again when coming here in Luzern again ) 👍

Receptionists are kind enough.
Nothing special than other hostels which is the good part. There were 4 out of 6 people in the room.
The location is about 10 minutes away from the main station so if you have lots of luggage, you should be aware of it.
They said they have a hair dryer in the bathroom but it doesn't and it required me to deposit a certain amount of money to get a private one at the reception.
They didn't notice that to me when I checked in. So I was extremely confused until I got the idea.

AAnonymous UserA strange thing happened in the early morning. Around 5:40, when we were still sleeping, the doorbell suddenly rang, waking us up. How could someone ring the doorbell so early in the morning? The bell rang for a while and then stopped. Just as we were about to fall asleep, the doorbell rang again. It lasted for a while and then stopped. This time we were completely woken up and felt a little panicked. After all, we were abroad. When the doorbell rang for the third time, we went to the door to see what was going on. As soon as we walked to the door, we heard the sound of someone rushing downstairs in the corridor. Looking out through the peephole, the lights in the corridor were still on and no one was there. There couldn't be a thief. We suddenly lost all sleep and immediately contacted the landlord on WHATSAPP. There was no reply, so we contacted Ctrip customer service. It was not until 19:57 local time that Ctrip customer service contacted the landlord and told us that the hotel's reply was that because the apartment is located in a public area, it cannot control who rings the doorbell. The doorbell was indeed installed in the hallway. The name of the apartment was clearly written on the bottom of the doorbell. There should be no possibility of pressing the wrong button. Moreover, the doorbell should be set up with a doorbell shut-off function like a hotel, otherwise it will seriously affect the normal rest of the guests and make people doubt the safety.
What is worthy of praise is Ctrip's customer service, quick follow-up and responsible attitude.
The apartment is about 15 minutes' walk from the train station and about 5 minutes from the old town. The apartment is located next to a small street, and there are no people on the street at night. There is a double bed and a sofa in the apartment. The double bed is not big, and there is something wrong with the spring. It creaks when it moves.
The kitchen has an oven, refrigerator, and induction cooker. The hand-held shower head and rod are broken, so it can only be held by hand, which is very inconvenient.
