The hotel is still very good, the service is good, the beach is right outside, the sea breeze can be felt when the window is open, and there is no noise as others have said when the window is closed.
Without mentioning the advantages, let's talk about the areas that need improvement:
1. It is indeed a bit late to arrive at the hotel at 9 pm, but it is also true that the bananas given as gifts are black, so it is better to change to other fruits;
2. The hotel linens are not washed cleanly, and there are yellow ”small maps”. Fortunately, I brought the sheets with me this time, otherwise I would definitely check out.

I was quite satisfied with my stay in the hotel room. It was recommended by a friend. The balcony has a beautiful view of the river. The air conditioning in the room is very comfortable and cool. There are many types of breakfast, which suits my personal taste. I like it very much. The front desk staff has a very good attitude. Attentive and thoughtful service, smiling face, thumbs up, will stay here again next time, highly recommended.

It took five minutes to receive the meal when I went to eat breakfast, but the chefs and waiters in the restaurant were very polite, and they even cooked noodles and fried eggs. With 秀英站 just 4km away and Meilan International Airport only 32km away, transportation is very convenient. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Yijing Surfing Club, Guanhaitai and Haikou Wanhai Ren Fanchuan Fanban Club all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Guests of this Haikou hotel can make use of the parking facilities. GGuest UserWe sadly got stuck in Haikou in the time when Hainan was plaqued by a Covid outbreak and there was no way to leave the Island. Luckily we picked this Hotel to wait it out, and we stayed here in total 12 nights of which we spend basically the whole time inside our room. The whole hotel has a nice Flair, everything is green and fitting the theme of forest. The room was quite comfy and welcoming, all amenities were there and working. The only downside was that the WiFi was pretty slow (therefore only 4points), so we basically needed to use our mobile internet the whole time. As this was a special situation we had a lot of interaction with the Hotel staff which, even that they didn't speak any English, always was extremely helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to support us. They washed our clothes for free and there was delicious free coffee and fresh fruit provided which gave us an extra welcoming feeling!
Due to our situation I can't really rate the location as we were not allowed to explore the surroundings, but all the positive experiences mentioned definitely put this place up there as one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
If I'd ever return to Haikou I'd definitely go back to this Hotel.

GGuest UserThis place is great. Very clean and everything is new and hi-tech. A robot brings your orders to you right to your room door. Smart toilet seat (warmed-up at all times). Motion detector-activated night lights. Smart mirror.
I twisted an ankle playing polo on the 2nd day of my Haikou stay. And, instead of having a nice tropical vacation, had to spend almost 3 weeks in bed in my hotel room, barely able to walk. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me cope with the injury. They were giving me Hainan specialty foods, like coconut candy and coconut chips for free.

1) the Front Desk staff. All of them.
2) the 7th Floor cleaning ladies. They cleaned my room daily, while I actually had to sit in the room, as I had a hard time walking. They showed simpathy and understanding and were wishing me speedy recovery every day.
On the check-out day I had an early morning flight to catch, so I checked out at 4am. The front desk girl gave me for free a pack of milk, a packed cookie and a pack of nuts so I could have a quick breakfast. I didn't even ask for that, so thanks.

We stayed for another 4 nights this time and discovered the small and beautiful garden on the 4th floor.
Floor can be cleaner as we are not wearing shoes in the room. The sand in the room should be covered.
Great experience overall.

MMK83I do not recommend this hotel unless you are just going to sleep there only. If you plan to spend anytime in the hotel room, order food, or even just think that someone will come and bring fresh towels then stay somewhere else. The location is great. In the past I've stayed at this hotel before and it was much better. It has fallen a lot. The service is just sad. Though they did know how to register a foreigner and that part was easy.

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apar**ent. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.
