First of all, calling the hotel Mercure Dusseldorf Neuss is false advertising because the hotel is neither in Dusseldorf nor in Neuss (already about 20 mins outside the city) but in a further outpost called Norf. If you're arriving by public transport, the Norf Station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the nearest bus stop a 7 minute walk (a LOT when you're travelling with luggage). Despite seeing that I was visibly struggling with my luggage, not only did no one on the staff not offer to help (which sucks but okay fine I've learnt not to expect much from German hospitality) but they went out of their way to give me a room a long walk away from the reception. Also the mattress wasn't firm and gave me a back ache. Do better Mercure, this should be embarrassing for you

Friendly staff, pleasant environment without too much noise, tidy rooms and the interior of the whole hotel, excellent food and restaurant, very reasonable price, all services and hotel staff for the highest rating.
The hotel is 7km away from Dusseldorf. The location is very convenient. You can take a taxi directly after getting off the high-speed rail. It is less than 1km away from the client company we visited and can be reached on foot. I like it very much and it is also a hotel recommended by customers. It is very cost-effective and can be used as an alternative hotel for the next business trip.
Have stayed here for one night. The hotel was not very busy. There is lots of free parking around the hotel so dont use the garage. Room was nice and had a great view. As a Spire IHG member I got a free breakfast and free drinks and snack at the bar. Not far from the city if you are with a car. Really good value.
Extremely helpful staff, well located hotel with ample secure parking (for a small fee). We were in Neuss attending a funeral having travelled from the UK. Reception was exceptionally helpful arranging for our PCR results to be printed out before our departure if we needed them to. Breakfast and dinner were excellent even though dinner had to be taken in the bar as the restaurant was closed.
first time to stay at ibis styles düsseldorf neuss and right at check-in i notice that it's not an authentic ibis styles. they couldn't find my reservation and had to look in another computer for it which i made through accor.com as usual. after they found my reservation, then they had to enter all my info to the other computer and finally gave my key. the room was quite small and it has no AC which was very bad. bathroom also small and old compared to the room which looked newer. breakfast was OK, quite good, can't complain. also the welcome drink voucher and key (it was a key not card) was different from other ibis styles, sure it was a old hotel converted to ibis styles like a francies.didn't enjoy that much especially due to no AC but location was good for my meetings.

Excellent
GGuest UserLocation was great. Close to Dusseldorf and Mochengladbach. An U-Bahn stop right in front of the hotel. (On-site) Parking was not an issue. If you want to check in during off hours a phone call/email to the hotel, or self check-in at the front door of the hotel will do. Room was clean and quiet. Yes it's tiny but sufficient to a family of four in our case. While the name B&B suggests bed and breakfast, breakfast is not automatically included but can be purchased on site. We got yelled at because we did not purchase the breakfast in advance and walked in and prepared to eat. But wait! We can always pay for it (later) right? The staff covering the morning shift that day argued that people 'normally' pay first (so we can not pay later?!).... To be fair, the dining area was clean and welcoming, and foods were there. There were no signages saying that 'Please pay before sitting down' or 'Please wait here to be seated'. The bottom line is that there is no reason to yell at people, right? Just kindly put down a bill/check would yield a much better travel experience. How did the entire incidence end? We paid for the breakfast, but did not eat anything. We walked across the street and had our breakfast at the McDonald's. We did not want to eat in a bad mood with a rude staff.
WWindersThe room is large and comfortable, but it is far from the station and half an hour to Düsseldorf Central Station. Breakfast is good, you can taste a lot of European style breakfast
