I'm in my room right now, just checked in. I'm sweating, because it's a sunny day, the room is in the top floor (3rd) and there is no air conditioning – not in the room, not on the floor. I told the guy at the reception (a nice guy, you have to give him that), and he said he knows. I asked to be moved to a lower floor, but that it's not possible, because all the rooms for families are on the top floor. I asked for a room with a double bed, and then add a small bed for the child: not possible. The room is small but fairly clean. We have bunk beds (yes, bunk beds): my son will sleep above my wife and me, while we'll share a bed so narrow that nobody can call it ”double” and remain serious. We have a toilet, a shower and a small sink, but we don't have a bathroom: the toilet is in a 1m² closet with no fan to take out the smell, so we'll have to share literally everything. Same for the shower: this time the closet is maybe 1.5m², but still no fan. The sink is in the room with us. Ok, enough whining, I have to go downstairs and bring up the luggage. Of course, no elevator. But hey, I saved 30€ compared to a decent place to sleep with my family.

Very close to the university, this hotel near the university, the small bar in the hotel is super good, the young lady is very professional and enthusiastic, will recommend the right wine according to the preference, the environment is super invincible quiet

We selected this hotel because it is near the uniclinical clinic. It is only 15 minutes walking distance. A parking place in front of the house and a super bus connection to the city. We will certainly come back to this hotel.

Stayed here on night in May. Hotel is tricky to find and we ended up asking some locals who told us we were in the right place but had driven past the entrance a couple of times! There is a tiny sign on the wall which is easily missed. Hotel has parking right outside and we got a place no problem. Our room was spotless and spacious and nicely furnished. We arrived late and the hotel recommended a restaurant two minutes walk away called the Spielberg so we walked round. From the outside the place looked empty but when we went in was heaving so we felt lucky that they found space for us on the end of a table. Neither of us speaks much German at all and the hotel has no menus in English but a very helpful lady from behind the bar came and sat with us to help. We ordered schnitzels and drinks and sat back to soak up the atmosphere which was fantastic. The restaurant is obviously very popular with locals with many family groups. The food was delicious and I can't recommend this place highly enough. A short walk and were were back at the hotel and we both slept like logs. Breakfast was really good with scrambled eggs cooked to order and a nice selection of meats and bread and a pot of coffee. Lovely small, well run hotel, we would definitely stay there again.

The room is clean and good

The room is relatively clean, worth recommending, and the environment is quiet. The transportation is relatively convenient, close to the train station and supermarket, and it is worth a leisure residence for shopping trips. Recommended!

What a great little hotel! I stayed here for 5 nights in October. My room was good for a single person. It might be a tighter fit for 2. My room was tiny. The bed was quite comfortable, considering others I've slept on in Germany. The pillows were pretty good. a full length mirror, a TV, and a wire rack to hang clothes. I was OK with it because I didn't want to hang out in my room. No coffee maker, no refrigerator. My room was very quiet. The bathroom is one of those that has a shower in the corner. Not a separate shower. The floor gets wet no matter how you hard you try. The curtain just isn't big enough. Another annoyance. The bathroom light was on automatic, so if you rose in the middle of the night to use it (jet lag anyone)? the light turns on automatically super bright, like those at a football stadium. It's hard to resume sleep after that. Breakfast was included and it was a pretty good selection. The usual Euro fare, meats, cheese, etc. lots of bread, eggs, bacon, and a wide selection of cereals. There is a bar there, though small and they will cook a decent burger or quick food upon request. The Hotel is very new and clean. A younger crowd stays there, but it's not uncomfortable if you're older. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. They spoke English well and I heard other languages also. It is within walking distance of the Old Town although its a longer walk so be prepared. Lots of restaurants and other things to do and see are also within walking distance. Wurzburg is a beautiful city and you could do a lot worse than the Moxy.

We were the first time in this hotel and are restlessly enthusiastic, it has all been true, whether rooms in the 13. Stock, restaurant with breakfast and ala Carte, also very good in quality and friendliness and also the reception always very friendly and also very competent. We were certainly not the last time here. Thank you for the kl. Attention to my wife who had the birthday there. It was very nice with you and to the great view of the 13th floor, think like long ago.
