I was first in this hotel. Since I am about 200 nights in the year hotel, I look forward to new experiences. And despite his age, the house is a very careful, with friendly staff and really a direct connection to the Rhine. Close to it definitely not! Class breakfast with fresh fruit salad, fresh pressed juice,... The rooms are large and clean. And I would always take the Rhine side!!!

Well, that you can't park well directly in Brühl, I don't expect the restaurant, a notice for non-local people on the homepage would help. It makes a very nice impression (which is basically taste) and the reception was also friendly. The food card and selection was for all with it. The drinks were ok. We had fishcarpaccio, which tasted up, to a price where I would have expected fresh fish. It was also rather unpleasantly decorated. The main food was then really rather horrible. The plates were served with clocks. Sincerely, this has already increased my expectation and I felt like in a slapstick, or I thought I would be at “Do you understand fun?” and Guido comes right around the corner. In a pad soaked Tagliarini, flat on the plate, through the gravity of the pad, Almost like a soup and the gorgonzola was hardly tasteful. Unfortunately, the fish and the potatoes were not even better, in any case too much to fat. Nightly we saved ourselves.... Sincerely, I was going and wondering if I should tell the servant the truth how the question came whether it tasted! I didn't do it, probably it's wrong, but I still want to do it to save others. Do they really not try their own food? All in total, almost €100 for two people I found not the quality appropriate.

Ich habe vom 28.02. auf den 01.03.23 in Zimmer 215 übernachtet. Der Checkin verlief schnell und freundlich. Leider erhielt ich die falsche Information bezüglich der Sauna- diese sollte bereits (15:30 Uhr) geöffnet sein. Als ich gegen kurz nach 17:00 Uhr in die Sauna wollte, heizte diese gerade erst auf. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern. Allerdings, bauartbedingt, sehr klein. Besonders das Badezimmer ist mini und bietet kaum Abstellflächen. Das WLAN ist recht stabil, stößt aber scheinbar Abends an seine Kapazitäten. Da dieses Zimmer zur Eingangsseite/ Straßenseite/ Parkplatzseite liegt, war es in den Morgenstunden recht laut - aber mit Ohropax konnte das Fenster geöffnet bleiben. An der Sauberkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Leider fehltem dem TV viele TV Programme. Der Fitness-/ Saunabereich wirkt dagegen etwas lieblos und ist zudem nicht voneinander getrennt. Insgesamt ist der Bereich etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Abendessen war leider eine Katastrophe. Ich bestellte die knusprige Maispoulardenbrust auf Kirschtomatengemüse und Rösti. Erhalten habe ich eine trockene Poularde, ohne Knusperhaut und fettigen Reibekuchen. Ich habe nur etwas von der Poularde gegessen und den Teller zurückgehen lassen. Dies wurde vom Service zwar entschuldigt- mehr aber auch nicht. Beim bezahlen wurde der volle Preis von €17,50 berechnet. Auf Nachfrage, ob das ernst gemeint sei, erhielt ich nur JA als Antwort. Da ich, als Platin-Member bei Hotmiles, regelmäßig in H Hotels übernachte, kann ich sagen, dass die Küchenleistung in Brühl bisher am schlechtesten aller von mir besuchten H Hotels ist. Es gab nicht einmal die sonst üblichen Brottaler mit Dipps. Das Frühstück entsprach dem typischen H Hotels Standard und war gut. Schade nur, dass die Säfte aus Konzentrat und Wasser bestehen. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder auswählen, allerdings einen großen Bogen um das Abendessen und den unkulanten Service dort machen.

A very nice place to stay. We have combined it with a visit to Phantasialand. Car 5 min drive and running about 20/25 min. Reception was very friendly and helpful. I was clearly explained, eventually wanted to call a restaurant to book when I asked for dinner options internly. They have (gratis) small hairs you can pick up. It is certainly not worth dinner for me, but they say so too. On the corridors, free water and water with bubbles. To get other (fresh and alcoholic) drinks at a small price. You write your room number, with what you have taken from the refrigerator and with the dishing it is counted. Our room was on the first floor and it was warm! No air-conditioning, and only the window open was no option ivm muggen, flying and wespen. TV did not. WiFi did it perfectly in the room. Shower was fine and it was in the evening and in the night quiet. Breakfast was fine and for everyone whatever he wants. Parking is free.

We stayed for 2 nights to visit the Christmas market (Weihnachtsmarkt) at Bonn and Cologne. Perfect distance to both cities. Going there, signs to the hotel are not very visible. At night it was impossible to find the hotel without Google Maps. Check in time is supposed to be at 15.00 but we already had our key around 13.30. We were given a spacious room on the second floor facing the parking area and big container bins. No airco, only a tower fan hidden in the big wardrobe. There were 2 windows with heater underneath. In the morning when we opened the windows, we could hear lovely sound of birds chirping outside. The room had big LCD TV with German channels and BBC. No waterheater. Beds were soft and comfy with two big soft pillows and one little one. Comforter was warm enough in the winter. While the room has no odor at all, the bathroom is a different story. The shower/bathtub smells of damp, also has black spots on the wall. Water pressure in the shower could use great improvement. Breakfast is served from 7.00 until 10.00 (weekends) with many varieties of bread, meat, cheese, and fruit. The sausages that go with eggs and bacon were very delicious. Coffee is served by the waitress with medium coffeepot left on the table. Tea drinking is self-service with great selections of tea. Little teapots for hot water are nearby. The waitress gladly brought us hot water when we forgot. Although the hotel folder stated Wi-Fi connection is 1 euro per code/gadget, when we checked out, there was no extra charge for Wi-Fi. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay.

Clean, modern hotel. Breakfast Corona only conditioned a la carte ... otherwise it is definitely even more pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommend the garage to parking. Come back.
