Stayed in this hotel last minute and from booking the room over the phone with the staff to checking out I can not fault this hotel. The staff are friendly. The food in the restaurant is lovely and the rooms are of a good size and very clean. We have dogs and this hotel is great for them and they were treated so lovely by the hotel staff. We were so impressed by our stay at this hotel we are looking at booking again and taking family along with us.

It was a cozy and lovely hotel with welcoming hosts.
The room is small but has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay.
We took the see view room and it was just as described.
Throughout our stay we did not find anything worth complaining so I would consider it a 10/10 hotel.
We did not try the breakfast though so cannot comment on that.

I stayed at the George with my son for one night, and it was everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the service was efficient and very friendly, with appropriate Covid measures in place to make us feel comfortable and safe. Everything was very clean, including our shared bathroom. Due to Covid, the breakfast room was closed, so breakfast was brought to our room, and was fine - bacon bap, croissant, etc. As you would expect from a many-roomed guest house, there was a bit of TV noise from adjoining rooms, but nothing that disturbed us, and my son enjoyed the large TV screen! A short walk from the front and reasonable prices made this an excellent choice for us.

Outstanding
RRashiIt was a cozy and lovely hotel with welcoming hosts.
The room is small but has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay.
We took the see view room and it was just as described.
Throughout our stay we did not find anything worth complaining so I would consider it a 10/10 hotel.
We did not try the breakfast though so cannot comment on that.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is easy to find, opposite the beach. The surrounding restaurants are very convenient. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean and bright. Suitable for family travel, there are free rental toys for children to play with sand.

GGuest UserMyself and my 9 year old daughter had a twin room for one night. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly man that took our bags until we could check in at 4. They then took them to our room for us. The room was clean and all you would need, the water pressure is amazing one of the best showers I have had in a long time. Our room had hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and towels included as well as the usual tea and coffee. When we checked out at 10am I asked if it would be possible to keep our bags safe until I got the train home so we could really enjoy our last day, again the staff were amazing and said of course straight away, I asked if we had a time frame and I was told the doors get shut at 11 so any time before that, how amazing is that! I can’t say how impressed I was with the staff and our stay especially for the money. We are looking forward to coming again soon.

GGuest UserStayed here for 1 night as a family 👪 of 5. Bit of a mix up with the rooms but quickly sorted. We stayed in rooms 2 and 9. This place is what it is. You get what you pay for. We found it clean and safe. Good location for the beach. Yes it does need updating but the new landlord only took over recently and is gradually making improvements. We enjoyed a lovely Shiraz in the bar at a very reasonable price and had a lovely chat with some of the locals! No toiletries and you need to check which rooms have hairdryers. Enjoyed a good night's sleep albeit the heat. Main thing was that the children really enjoyed themselves.

GGuest UserStayed in this hotel last minute and from booking the room over the phone with the staff to checking out I can not fault this hotel. The staff are friendly. The food in the restaurant is lovely and the rooms are of a good size and very clean. We have dogs and this hotel is great for them and they were treated so lovely by the hotel staff. We were so impressed by our stay at this hotel we are looking at booking again and taking family along with us.
