Hotel hidden in the alley. The room is relatively large, especially the bathroom, which is separate from the toilet. When you push the door, you can smell the faint scent of the bedding after washing. The operator’s design and decoration can be seen everywhere in the entire building. The breakfast exceeded expectations, and I was served with homemade rose sauce. The front desk is warm and friendly and provides all kinds of help and services at any time. A 10-minute walk from the central main street.

I had an excellent stay at the Astoria Hotel in Thessaloniki! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from all the main attractions and shopping streets. The room was comfortable, clean, and modern, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. especially the young lady at breakfast with a lovely smile even when she was very busy, every morning pot of coffee and tea, What really stood out to me was the warm hospitality and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It felt like a home away from home. I even made a video about my experience on my YouTube channel, Englishman Travel! I highly recommend the Astoria Hotel for anyone visiting Thessaloniki – I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again

I stayed here again on two occasions, I really like this hotel because of the friendly, polite and professional staff, the convenience of the location, clealiness etc. I stayed in the 'other building' this time and I had no idea this building existed. My room was clean, a bit on the small side (which is fine), the shower pressure was excellent, and I slept really well. The aircon worked with no issues. The breakfast buffet was also really great, but it would be nice to see the food more covered to avoid any flies or bugs etc. Not that I saw any, but still. Improvements: I was a bit disappointed by the mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. There's no extraction fan to get rid of the moisture which is why it's there. I was also surprised by the stairs in the other building, since they are a slight hazard in the sense that at one part they drag down slightly more than they should (see picture). They need to be repaired/replaced. There is also a broken tile that needs to be fixed too. Cheap toilet paper (like small tissues) being used was a surprise. Why not the use of normal ones? I don't know what's used in the soap, but it makes my skin dry. I don't remember that being the case last year. Despite some of the negatives, I still enjoyed my stay here at this hotel and I would stay here again.

My family was very impressed by Polis Apartments, which is on the west side of the central district of Thessaloniki. We booked the 2-bedroom deluxe apartment for our family of four, which was just the right amount of space for us to relax. The room was very clean. It included a refrigerator, dishware and utensils, which was perfect for us to keep breakfast foods during our stay. There is a grocery store located less than a block away from the apartment. The staff was very good. I especially appreciated Konstantinos, who was very helpful in giving us an overview of the city. He gave some great restaurant recommendations. If you are traveling to Thessaloniki by car, I suggest using the parking garage recommended by Polis. It is staffed 24 hours per day at a daily cost of 10 euros; pay the hotel (not the garage). Note: parking on the street is extremely limited. We would stay at Polis Apartments again if/when our travels take us back to Thessaloniki.

We absolutely love staying at this hotel and we come back to Thessaloniki only to be there. You feel truly at home as all members of the staff are exceptional and go the extra mile to please you. Location is fantastic and the views from the balcony are really nice. Their rooms are some of the most spacious I believe you could ever have in any similar hotel and so reasonably priced for what you get! Rooms are well kept, very clean with a lot of natural light. They also offer parking space and an EV charger that was super convenient and they take care of everything for you. Breakfast is also very good, with a lot of options including local flavors and fresh juice and coffee again served in a very nice and bright atrium. The hotel is super close the highstreet, some of the main landmarks of the city and some of the best restaurants. Looking forward to visiting Daios again some time in the winter!

Το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο και πολύ άνετο για 4μελή οικογένεια ! μάλιστα η πολύ μοντέρνα και έξυπνη κατασκευή της κουκέττας έδινε στα παιδιά την απαραίτητη ιδιωτικότητα. το προσωπικό στην reception εξαιρετικό όπως και η κυρία του καθαρισμού που πρέπει να αναφερθώ. Πολύ ευγενική χειρονομία τα νεράκια και τα ροφήματα + σοκολατάκια για τους φιλοξενούμενους. το parking δεν με δυσκόλεψε ιδιαίτερα σε σύγκριση με το χάλι της Θεσσαλονίκης - ωστόσο θα πρέπει να προβλεφθεί 1 θέση για άφιξη αναχώρηση επισκεπτών.

Hi everyone tourguide here,the hotel is very nice perfect location and big big thank you to George the receptionist guy when we check in the September 18 2024 he is the best of the best for as receptionist but unfortunately that lady receptionist September 19,2024 is the worst receptionist I ever met as long she’s is there i will never go back again!! She don’t even say please anyway so sad but I will bring my next guest for my next client, next time just simple ask your guest (sir/mme. With all respect can we please have the payment for the extension of your room? You don’t have to argue or be rude with the guest (for the lady receptionist) and next time learn to smile and say please before you ask, and your doing your job very terrible she doesn’t deserve the place for luxury hotel, she for 2 star hotel

AAishaI stayed here in October, and the weather was beautiful. I took one bus from the airport straight to the hotel and it was fast and easy to local. It's located about 10 - 15mins walk to the white tower and sea side. You can see the port and the cruise boat docking from the sea view.
There are lots of places to eat.
Room size OK, shower cubicle is very small
No kettle in room for tea and it not free when you order in the hotel for a night cap.
Breakfast is good not of option but good. It would be nice to visit in summer with kids.

This is a lovely traditional hotel in a great location all the staff are very friendly and welcoming...the room was spotlessly clean.. towels changed daily and bedding changed even though I was only there a few nights. Dimitris and Stefanos were always willing to chat offering very helpfuln advice on how to navigate the city to visit the many beautiful churches and places of historical interest...I would certainly return to this beautiful vibrant city and most definitely stay at this hotel again..

TTheLush101We were here as part of a group tour in September 2022 and stayed for one night. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and we were able to be dropped off right outside. Check in was swift - the lobby isn't that big and there was only one lift, so one of us took the bags up, whilst the other climbed the spiral staircase. The room was compact but had enough room for everything we needed - the bedding was clean, the air con worked well, there was a wardrobe area, desk, chair and TV. There was also a fridge and safe as you'd expect. The room was clean and despite there being a very busy road outside, there wasn't too much noise coming in through the doors to the small balcony area. The bathroom was also compact, but the shower was big enough - good pressure and hot water. Breakfast downstairs was good and had a choice of hot and cold food, as well as tea, coffee and juices. The wifi was fine in case you need to use it. Overall a good short stay.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hostel many times and will definitely come back! The hostel has a relaxed and cozy atmosphere that you will feel right at home in. The owner, Kostas, is so welcoming and friendly as he will give you great information about Thessaloniki and its local history. He will also give you great advise on the rest of your travels around Greece! The staff are always fantastic and so friendly that you will feel very welcomed. The dorms are perfect and new mattresses have been put in which is a bonus. The area of the hostel is great as it is in the quiet old town but just a 15 minute walk from the city centre. The private rooms also have an amazing view of the sea and city. Overall, I could not recommend a better hostel to stay in :)

There are so many shops nearby that I almost didn’t notice and missed the sign. There are several steps to go from the door to the front desk. The elevator is very small and can only accommodate one person with a large suitcase. It must have been added to the old building.

Aristotelous Square
TTodemmyAthens, a city that was extremely glorious 2,500 years ago, now appears in front of us in a very simple appearance. A small airport, an inconspicuous road, and the clouds and sunlight on the road are playing tricks. There is a sacred feeling in the air, as if gods live deep in the deserted wilderness. Aristotle Square is definitely a central area that you should come and see!
