Just a short walk from the hotel, I found myself at the sea, where I enjoyed serene walks along the shore and the calming sound of the waves. In the opposite direction, a gentle stroll took me to the nearby hills, providing breathtaking views and invigorating hiking opportunities. The proximity to both the sea and the hills made my stay at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel a unique and enriching experience. The blend of luxury accommodation with such splendid natural surroundings is something I will cherish and look forward to experiencing again.

The hotel service is very good, you can check out later. The breakfast buffet is cheap, only semi-self-service, not just pick it up by yourself, you need the help of the service staff. In addition, if you arrive early, you will not be allowed to check in. You need to wait until 3 o'clock. Of course, the last 2 o'clock will allow you to check in. The environment is good, and it is close to the city center and the airport station.

Broc House Suites is a fantastic choice for those who don't mind being a bit further from the city center, as it requires a 30-minute distance. However, the spacious rooms make up for it. The ability to cook and having all the necessary amenities at hand is a definite plus.

I stayed at Aberdeen Lodge for nine days in June 2022. The B&B is in a historic building in the village of Sandymount, just south of the Dublin city center, in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with tree-lined streets and expansive green space. The owners/proprietors Pat and Ann and their staff provide friendly attentive service and are eager to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast is delicious and served with warm hospitality. In the nicely landscaped back yard you can play with the friendly resident Yellow Labrador Retrievers Sandy and Robin. The nearest station for the Dart train to Dublin city center is a seven minute walk away. There is also bus service to the city, and Pat or Ann can arrange for taxi pick-up. The nearest restaurant and retail stores are about a 12 - 15 minute walk. This is a historic building, and as such the soundproofing in some rooms is better than others. If this issue is important to you I suggest you book one of the larger rooms. All in all, Aberdeen Lodge is a great place to stay in the Dublin area for an excellent value!

We have been welcomed by Gary, he's kind, efficient and gave us a lot of precious information. The room was perfect, the common areas too. Elegant setting, comfortable beds. We are a family of 4 and the hotel is close to a Dart station, so easy to reach Dublin centre in a few minutes.
