Experience was good however i would like to focus on few important points mgmt they should really work upon. 1. Variety of food are very few and we had two curries four times in six days (of our stay) like Mushroom do pyaza, chana daal and dhaniya/jeera aloo fry …etc. 2. Since we had gone in monsoon season they should provide sufficient umbrellas for guests which was not the case. Everyone would not want to enjoy drenching in rain. Infact once i wanted unmbrella for my 6 yr little kid from gentleman named Akshay in F&B department but he outrightly refused to give which was very disappointing. 3. Their buggies are also few and we saw their buggy drivers driving fast do not stop even after caling/giving them hand on the common way. 4. They dont have much to do in kids room other than screen or carrom where they could arrange pottery/coloring etc. 5. They have unsafe steel bars in children outdoor play area, if by any chance someone/kid fall over it may get seriously injured. 6. Their washroom is good nevertheless they have towel placement rack only 6 inches away from pot so if someone will pull the towel may touch the pot or if towel will fall it will be half on foot of pot and half on floor. Its not a good feeling after shower. 7. They must improve on quality of tea that we never got in 6 days of stay. They serve untasty dull tea 7. Their swimming pool is not temperature controlled so please be mindful if this is one of the factor to consider this property for stay. Water remains very very cold for kids and dead/ live insects were everywhere in pool 8. They should pace up the check in and check out time. They took minimum 40 minutes in giving key on first day and 25 mins in check out because they included wrong bill in invoice. Please recheck before making payment 8. They place veg and non veg in same vessel like pav bhaji wala pao and egg bhurji which is unacceptable.

If you traveling solo or family then I don't recommend this place. Bathrooms is not hygienic at all. Room is dusty. food is good , view from restaurant is also good but restaurant staff is not professional they will stare at you while eating food. View from room is good. Room amenities not provided. And charges are high too. Nearby to war memorial and cricket stadium. Hotel staff help to arrange cabs . But I will recommend search other

Quite an extraordinary experience we had at hotel mountain vista. 1- amazing view of top of the mountains 2- very supporting staff 3- good food quality, when u compare to any restaurants where you more n more spices, but at the hotel kitchen the balanced diet you can get. 4- last & the most amazing one, we had a cotraveller from russia, & she was an influencer of yoga, she organized a breathing therapy session on sun-day evening. An inhaling experience everyone seeks to have in their life.

We stayed here for 2 days and have come back very happy. There are a few issues at the hotel like patchy internet but a lot of it depends on the weather too. The rooms are a good size with a balcony giving you brilliant views of the range… While there are a few things they fall short on, it get more than compensated thanks to the manager, the always smiling, always ready to help Kishan Ji. He got us extra blankets and 2 heaters when it got really chilly at night, for no extra it’s. Helped us with umbrellas when it started raining. The hotel is around 15 minutes hilly walk to the McLeodganj market. We had breakfast and dinner and the food is pretty decent too. All in all, a good stay. Opt for the corner most room which has the best view.

The stay was excellent. The staff was very kind, courteous and helpful. They took care of all out needs especially in the food department for out kid. The property is located at a picturesque spot. The view of the dhauladhar range is breathtaking with sunrise views. The terrain of the hotel is uneven, so some of the rooms require steep climb and descent. It was not a problem for us younger group but can be for older people. Overall excellent stay.
