The property is pretty old with fairly good maintenance. Room size was very average and with very average Decor. There was a centralised heater in the room but not in the bathroom. The best part of the room was its Wide window, overlooking beautiful valley,huge mountains and river flowing by the side. The garden area was not very well maintained, but again view from the garden was amazing. Property is located in the prime market area, with lots of eateries & restaurants all around. There are small shops selling Local Kashmiri goods and one can take a long walk around this place with mountains at 360 degrees view. Rooms from 08 to 11 are best ( view wise). Breakfast spread was very average and taste of food was of OK type. In my opinion one can always stay at this property because of its location & view.

This property is exotic and the view is amazing. The interiors are tastefully designed and the scenic view from the room makes it even more special. We were lucky to find such a wonderful homestay especially manzoor bhai who were so generous. He gave me his own kangri ( a small basket filled with coal ) when i was shivering in minus 5 degrees. He even arranged bonfire for us and hookah on request. Manzoor bhai is literally the best kashmiri I have ever met, so generous and sweet person. We will definitely plan a long trip to pahalgam in summers in this property.

I stayed with my wife for 5 days starting June 27, 2022, to cover Pahalgam sightseeing and subsequently take up Amarnath Yatra. The owner staff Sareer Ahmed & Nayeem Ahmed were very helpful in arranging transportation ensuring it is economical for us. Also, they cheerfully met our small requests making it a very pleasant stay. Though there is no restaurant, they have a kitchen wherein they met our request for morning/evening tea and other food items. The other staff were also very friendly & obliging. When we left for yatra, they kept our luggage safe until our return. Overall we enjoyed our stay at New Snow View Resort, Overall, the facility is quite ok for budget conscious.

3. The room was ok but room service was slow. No proper breakfast menu. No geyser was there hot water is also available in certain times only. Location is also far from market. They are showing close to. Market but all false.

We stayed in kashmir house, pahalgam during our trip to kashmir. We just stayed for one night and the experience was good. It is not a very luxurious property, but ideal for people who want to have a short stopover at pahalgam overnight. We stayed here in october, so the weather was pleasant. Location: located right by the main chandanwari road, around 0. 5km away from pahalgam market area. Rooms: rooms were well furnished with wooden panelling. Appropriate for the price bathrooms: clean and spacious with hot water available round the clock. Only drawback was that windows of the bathrooms of some rooms were not covered properly from outside view. So we had to check a couple of rooms before deciding on one which was properly covered. Service: service by the staff was also very good. They also arranged taxi for sightseeing. Rates of taxi are fixed by the union and rate card was available at the reception. Restaurant: there is a pure veg restaurant attached to the property. The food was average. Suggestions: overall for the price we paid, the stay was pleasant. The bathrooms windows in some rooms could be better covered from outside view for more privacy. Apart from that it is a good choice for tourists visiting pahalgam

Jahangir cottage is an austere clean and hygienic place of stay with a touch of home. I travel-led solo and i felt completely at home owing to the efforts of dr jahangir the proprietor. He is well-read and provides excellent suggestions for travel whenever sought. This place stands true to its tagline - come as guests and leave as family. I would strongly recommend jahangir cottage to solo travellers and families alike.

I was Lucky to find Brown Palace online which was matching my tast like to stay from all crowds of busy pahalgam twon . The location was great accommodation was outstanding newly bulid premium rooms with centrally heating the food was fresh delicious and always fresh cooked. The staff was so much helpful they can arrange your requirements just in minutes. I highly recommend this cosy place to every kind of traveller. My heartful thank to all staff and owner for making my stay a memorable one.

The location is good..food is tasty.....staff very good ....overall good property. Only issue is the room description...they only have few rooms .. mountain facing..but they promote and share pics of hotel saying mountain view rooms..which is a bluff...you will not get wat u see on website....unless u r lucky enough. We were not that lucky and were fooled by the hoteliers. They said we give first come first serve basis...but that is also a big lie. Rooms are toooo small....forget about extra bed addition...u hardly get space to move in the room in few rooms like 203 .... So don't go there with much expectations in terms of room and view from the room...else it's food..staff is good.
