Location is good, walkable from temple, on main road. Initially the room they gave us has ac issue, they agreed to move us to a better room which was good. Friendly staff and limited parking space, so have to park on the road.

Hotel Ashoka was our pick when we were doing our initial screening of hotel selections and truly it did not let us down. We had booked a family room with Balcony. The room was very spacious with 2 double beds enough to easily accommodate 4 people. Hot water was available 24*7 thanks to geyser. The water cooler was also available at arms length because of which we didn't have to buy a bottle of water. The only thing which lacked in our room was a mini fridge. Coming to the food, the breakfast was really tasty with vegetarian south indian spread. Chutneys will not let you down. Tea and coffee and a sweet was nice. We also had dinner on one day and dal tadka, jeera rice and aloo mgobi sabji didnt let us down. Overall a good hotel with very close proximity to the north gate of Ramanathaswamy temple. (3min walk)

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel with family. Initially the communication was difficult. Manager umesh kumar helped and then we had very good service.

Vinayaga is one of the best hotels in Rameshwaram. Room services are quick, Easy to talk to and will make sure you experience luxury. For Food it is a delight with their multi cuisine availability. The north indian food we had was a treat we can only find in Vinayaga that reminds me of home. Kali Dass, the restaurant incharge took the charge himself, to make us the most luxurious visit we can have. Even the reception was super cooperative and will try its best to meet your demands. So, overall its a 5 star for me, had the most welcoming, luxurious and comfortable stay, i could ask for.

No locker facility, extra bed was not bed, that's only cloth inside. Very average hotel and hotel is so confident that if we escalate, they have alternate options of guests, being a tourist place. Not recommended for stays with family.

I had a really good experience staying here. It is located 650 meters from the west gate. It is as simple as taking one left and a right turn to get to the gate. Everything (a local shop, home mess, and family restaurants) are nearby barely 5 minutes walk. Now when it comes to facilities, we were provided all the necessary items. Staffs were very helpful. I talked to the owner/manager of the property he guided me planning the whole rameshwaram trip. This property has a common balcony at 2nd floor where one can pass his time in the evening. It's very airy and peaceful. Its a good place for family time. The property was clean and well maintained and had a parking space as well. F so, all in all, i would recommend this homestay for family stays.

Stayed on 9th of July 2023 Positive: 1. The hotel is 5 minutes (approx) walking distance from Ramanathaswamy Temple. 2. Reception staff (Night Shift) was courteous. Negative: 1. Room is too small, if you just want to sleep go for it and should not pay more than INR 1500, excluding breakfast. 2. There is NO car parking on the hotel premises, you have to park your vehicle somewhere away. I requested and I was lucky since I parked my car in a corridor outside the hotel's entrance but had to submit my car key. 3. Bathroom had 2 big cockroaches. 4. Cleanliness was poor, especially bathroom flooring. If you have your own transport, I suggest you should stay in a hotel 1km to 1.5km away from the temple, the hotels are big and better. You can park your car near the temple since small private parking spaces are available.

The picture of the room is not the same what you get. Rooms were slightly unclean. However, they do cleaning and change of bedsheets everyday, which is nice. Service was good but not quick. Please have a guard sitting at the car entry & exit gate as we have to get down of the car to always open & close the gate. Nearby temple and agni theertham.

One of the most disappointed stay .. usually I never take things negatively but I had a bad experience here Firstly the towels given were wet and I got a doubt they they folded used towels .. but after thorough checking thier stocked towels I found that they recieved it like that from the dhobi .. next to that the washrooms are not at all clean .. and even the rooms were not properly mopped . The mattresses on the bed are also in bad shape .. overall it’s not at all good . We asked for room service nobody lifts the calls in the restaurant and when complained they said they had less staff and cannot supply in room . When went upto restaurant .. they had some buffet which is very little options . We ordered ala karte and food is ok with very very poor service . They dint care to serve .. just throughed the plates on the table. Bufffet breakfast is good and refilled with care .. when raised the complaint the management representative is very humble and said it’s one of thier busiest days as it’s some auspicious day .. Overall a bit disappointed

I had made my booking via makemytrip. The location of this hotel is excellent. Around 1.5 to 2kms from Rameshwaram Temple. I have to admit this. I am extremely impressed with the MD Mr Arulmurugan and Operation Manager Mr. Sivakumar there. They went out of their way to make my experience the best one. We stayed in their deluxe rooms (thanks to the MD and Manager). The rooms were very clean. The restaurant steals the show. Absolutely loved the food quality. Best part was that all the bearers had a smile on their faces. While greeting, while serving and while seeing you off. I would absolutely recommended anyone to stay here. They will not regret it. 3 cheers to the entire WYT Hotels team.
