An excellent place to stay peacefully with family. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is good yet cheap. Staff's behaviour is ok.

I recently stayed at kg h in bolpur, shantiniketan, and had a wonderful experience! the hotel's tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery, provided a soothing retreat from city life. Spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated rooms offered stunning views. Friendly staff were warm, courteous, and attentive. Delicious authentic bengali cuisine and impressive breakfast spreads were highlights. Conveniently located near visva bharti university, exploring shantiniketan was easy. Beautifully maintained gardens and outdoor spaces added to the charm. Overall, an ideal choice for a peaceful, culturally rich experience. I highly recommend kg h and look forward to returning soon! 5/5 stars.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are new, well maintained & aesthetically designed. The common areas - staircases, restaurant, etc. are also pleasing. Food quality in restaurants is good. Service is absolutely superb. The hotel staff are very friendly & professional. We had absolutely no problem staying with my 2 year old daughter. The hotel cook accomodated her meals as well (low spice, no chilli). She even made friends with a few of the staff. Highly recommended. Only con, I can mention is - it is a bit far from Bolpur station (~5 km), but it is near to Shonibarer haat. And it is in the lap of nature, the scenic beauty is good, also not far from town's amienties.

I visited Tarapith and Bolpur in Dec2021. It was a family trip. I had a 7 years old kid and senior citizen parents wirh me. Basically i booked this hotel online through their website . The best part is you can book the property by room number from wesite. One recommendation will be to book rooms on 1st Floor. That will give you the best views ( example : Room no 5 &6). The Hotel is decorated with a rural concept and you will get the feeling of mud house. So do not expect any high end luxury in the room. But you will have basic amenities like - AC/ mini fridge/ geyser etc. The USP of this property is its food. It is budget friendly yet yummy taste. If you are not a resident of the hotel then you will need to collect advance lunch token to get your chance. I am told by the manager that they have served lunch to 1000+ people on 25th Dec. People from all over Bolpur come to taste food here. The Sonsjhuri Haat is just outside the Hotel campus. In fact you can enjoy Baul Dance and Tribal Dhamsha Madol dance sitting on your balcony. The room rent is also decent. You will get Rooms in the range of INR 2000 - 2500. They have POS facility for all payments. The only challenge i faced was the service timeline. May to due to extreme rush on account of festive season they were unable to serve breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner on time and they have denied to accept orders in few instances. The location and ambience is pretty good. But the service and the behavior of the staff over there is not up to the mark. They took an hour to serve the snacks. They were irritated as i didn't inform them of an early check out. Yes, you read it right. Check out! the food items are pretty expensive.
