Sorry we only booked and stayed one night. If arriving by car, check Google maps for the lane behind the hotel where you drop off your luggage and enter the hotel. Reception then provides a map for parking across the river. From check in to check out, service was exemplary. Given the hotel’s location, we were sure how check in would be with a car however staff at reception made it was easy. Check out was just as easy retrieving the car, and then loading it at the back door. The room we booked was a classic double with balcony. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well and the wi fi signal was strong. We slept well, hotel is quiet and the room was quiet. The hotel has an elevator and the location is ideal. Breakfast was a very nice buffet with plenty of variety. Fresh fruit cocktail, fresh pineapple, melon and 'freshly' squeezed orange juice!! Pastries were delicious - chocolate croissant - fantastic. Scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, etc. All fantastic. What a well managed hotel, and a great team of employees! We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Hotel Terme Meran. Our room was quiet and spacious and the hotel staff was friendly, gracious, and welcoming. There was no need to go to the public thermal facility next door because this hotel has it all: especially the roof top, adults only, thermal infinity pool (which overlooks the town and snow capped mountains in the distance. I have read some of the negative comments, and I have to say this was just not our experience. I too was asked not to wear my swim trunks in the sauna area, and I complied since it is the hotel policy. We stayed 1/2 board and all meals were outstanding (although I wish more South Tirolean menu choices were featured), as was the wine selection. We cannot wait to return for another 4 days sometme in the future. The hotel is close to the old town with many shops and wine bars. So, all in all, we think the Hotel Terme Meran was a wonderful experience.

We spent five days (four nights) guests at Hotel Europa Splendid. The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are different to keep the original building of the palace in the style of liberty. We were in a Double Comfort. The room was spacious, parquet floor, well furnished, comfortable bed, couchs may be too hot for the season, very spacious floor bath and marble walls. All the equipments are working (TV, Fridge Bar, lamps, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning). General use rooms in order and clean. The breakfast is wonderful with a nice buffet. It is not packed; marmalades, yoghurt and butter are presented in cytolines and the sugar made in the house cut into vase. A wide range of fresh, syruped and dry fruit, and salses and cheeses. For anyone who wishes it is also available centrifuge. The dinner is very special with a wide choice of ranges. The food is prepared carefully in the combinations, sometimes very special but always pleasant. The streams are gourmets but also at dinner you can enjoy a spectacular buffet.
