Very good, the location is by the sea, I can see the sea in the morning, I can see the sea, the scenery is very good, I can see the volcano, the hotel service is very good, I will choose this next time I go to Naples.

Naples is the only city with high-rises on my trip to Italy. This Renaissance location is not bad. The subway is very close. It is also close to Newcastle, the town hall, and the port. There are several steps at the entrance of the hotel, there is no barrier-free access, and heavy boxes are more painful. Of course, if there is staff, they will help, but not always ... The breakfast environment of the hotel is good, overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the Mediterranean Sea. The variety is not particularly large but it is enough. There is an automatic muffin making, which looks very fun. The facilities of this hotel are slightly old and the bathroom has cracks, which is not comparable to that of a Mercure in Palermo. And the hotel does not provide bottled water, of course, there is a supermarket diagonally opposite, and shopping is very convenient.

Stayed just one night to be close to the airport after spending a week in the Amalfi coast and staying in Sorrento. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful in giving restaurant recommendations in the area and setting up a taxi pick up for the following day for an early flight. Small hotel but very good experience. The surrounding area is mainly local people and businesses, little stores and a few shops, nothing major to see or experience.

Going to Italy for the first time from Canada we didn't know what to expect. Nice hotel at a good price. A bit on the outskirts of Napoli but we knew that already. A great breakfast is also included. Where this hotel exceeds is it's customer service. Antonio at the front desk is amazing and goes above and beyond his duties. He speaks both English and Italian fluently and his advice and recommendations made our 2 nights safe and fun. We will definitely be going back. The hotel recommended Antonio who is a taxi driver in the area and an amazing driver and tour guide. He explained where we should and shouldn't go and was available to drive us whenever and wherever we needed to go. Thank you to both Antonio's for making our mini vacation amazing.

Unfortunately this stay was made costly at the worst time just as I was checking out. Be on your guard with hotel communications and use a translation app when speaking to staff on any important matters. I had accumulated a lot of Euros while settling shared receipts at the end of a family trip. I effectively became the exchanger for rest of family when they left town before me, and I ended up with half the price of my hotel bill. The day before check out, I asked 2 different hotel desk staff - in Italian - if I could use the Euros towards my hotel bill and they told me yes. So I spent my last day walking the city- and not using the available time to go to a bank and exchange the currency for a fair rate. At check-out the next morning, the Chief desk clerk told me it was too late to change my payment, they could not accept the cash, and the charge would go on my credit card. I pleaded with her and explained my prior communication. I was shocked she would not listen to my explanation and simply told me I misunderstood. I could not wait to change all the cash at my US bank, so I ended up losing 25% of the currency’s value using th airport exchange. Otherwise, rooms are nicely furnished. But you pay a lot for what you get and need to be careful about their added room charges. Depending on which staff you speak to, you will get different responses. Frankly, they seemed to have a predatory approach to foreign tourists. Multiple times I witnessed desk staff pushing costly guided tour packages of external sites like Pompeii, instead of answering English-speaking tourist questions about cheaper taxis and public transport. No doubt this is a source of hotel kick-backs. If you stay here, good luck.

Poor hygiene, a few hairs on the bed, poorly laid sheets, poor facilities, no separate shower room in the bathroom to stand in the bathtub to rain, the hotel has a long history, but personally feel it is not worth the price. not bad. Passed by and stayed only one night. Egg Castle was closed that morning.

As others have reflected this is a great little hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. Rooftop bar was very nice too. Rooms very clean and nicely appointed. Hotel is located just off a main road and within 5 mins walk of Naples station where the transfers from the airport drop off. The area immediately surrounding the station is not the best but the walk into/back from Naples central to the hotel was fine (roughly 40mins) and no different from any major city.

The hotel is located on the seaside. It is a good and safe area, and it is close to the main attractions. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. In addition, the room is very clean and well decorated. It is not very big but very exquisite. The breakfast is average, but you can eat enough. The front desk service is also good.
