We were just going to have a day in the pool and then we decided to take a night because there was no more available. The staff were very friendly and available. It seemed to be the telephone that we had always known ourselves and then the site became a confirmation. The bar boys are both lunch and breakfast very pleasant and serviceable. What to say we felt like friends. Then we took their wine that will surely be very good. We can only say thank you and we will certainly be happy to return.

It's far from the square, but it's soundproof. The facilities are clean and tidy It was so good to rest quietly! 10-15 minutes walk, there is a big shopping mall. The train station was 5-10 minutes by bus, so it was okay to move

GGuest UserVery spacious and clean room, a hidden bar in the basement, a quiet herb garden and all of it a stonr's throw from the city center of Verona. The reception was warm, friendly and efficient and the overall look and feel of the hotel merits a mention as well as does the service by the staff. Would stay and recommend this lovely b&b again!

GGuest UserMy wife & I stayed here for 3 nights in February & we couldn’t have picked a better location for seeing the beautiful city of Verona. Around a 15 minute walk from the train station, the hotel is right next to the main square & arena, and a short walk to Piazza Erbe & Juliet’s Balcony. Our apar**ent was spacious & clean, had cooking facilities such as microwave, kettle & hobs. The bed was super comfortable. The slight negative came with the bins being collected from outside the hotel each morning, but on the whole our experience was very positive. We would happily choose this hotel again when returning to Verona.

GGuest UserWe visited this hotel for the 4th or 5th time, we always were satisfied. But something had changed, we do not know why. Our welcome was fine, a bottle of prosecco waiting for us, just missing the cookies we had last year. We ordered the breakfast which is served on your room, and it was delivered next morning just in time. The scrambled eggs were nearly cold. In the afternoon coming back from town we missed new cleaned glasses, the used ones were not replaced, same with empty shower gel, we had to ask for nearly everything. The rest was okay, but nobody asked for our satisfaction at any time, even the departure. In the room we also had the impression that there’s the necessity for some renovation, even at some walls and the fridge with its door not closing properly. Being honest, we spent around 500 € (!) per day for b&b here! So this time we left Verona and the hotel not knowing whether we would come back in future.

GGuest UserReally enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. Great location in Verona, short walk from train station and in the other direction an easy walk to the gate and into the historic area, many options for eating and shopping. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, offering suggestions and directions. The room was clean and comfortable perhaps a bit tight and as others have mentioned the shower was really small. Water pressure was an issue on a couple of mornings. The breakfast buffet was very good with many choices - we almost didn't need a lunch! The lobby bar offered wines by the glass and we enjoyed trying local wines and, of course, campari or aperol spritz after a day of sightseeing! I want to recognize James, whether serving in the breakfast room or the bar, his charming personality and assistance made our visit extra special!! We celebrated a couple of birthdays during our stay and James created tasty and beautifully presented appetizers to accompany our Prosecco!!

VVikingurWe arrived late and the receptionist was awesome. Very helpful and fun, very carasmitic. The room was fun, the kids loved it. The cleaning could be better and the beadsheats were not cleaned propper and had a discusting stain from puke. But the cleaning boy fixed that and was nice about it.

GGuest UserWe stayed her for five nights. The location is perfect a few minutes walk from the bus/train station and not much further into the centre of Verona. The room we had was very dated, required some maintenance, but was clean. It did feel a bit like a dungeon although it was on the fifth floor with french doors and a balcony. The trouble was that the curtains would not open/close and the top of the curtains were not even attached to the rail on one side so flapped open. No worries, we thought, we will let them know so they can sort it out. Although the receptionist fully understood what we were saying the curtains were never sorted for the whole of our stay. We had to find a way to keep them closed at night. Another thing to keep in mind is that you cannot keep the doors open as it is so noisy, which is purely down to the location and can not be helped. It was too hot and a bit oppressive once the metal shutters were down at night. I felt the staff worked extremely hard at breakfast and noticed they replenished everything very quickly. The room was kept spotlessly clean and our bed was always made up when we returned to the hotel after exploring Verona. If I could give 3.5 stars I would, but I do not feel the hotel warrants 4 stars. I don't think I would return as would prefer something a bit more modern. Does this exist in Verona, I'm not sure that it does. Not quite sure how it is a four star hotel, more like what I would expect a three star to be like.

GGuest UserSpent 6 weeks in Italy, and still talk about how much we enjoyed our stay at this property, and in Verona. The rooms are basic, heated towel bars, comfy beds, nice breakfast, they make a lovely cappuccino. Good use of space in the hotel, nice library, can make tea. True, they don’t have an elevator, but they will help with bags. But the best part is the staff. They were incredibly helpful, really went out of their way to explain things, provide good maps, recommend restaurants. All questions were welcomed and answered effortlessly. We would definitely go back, and highly recommend the hotel. Lastly, the praise could go on and on, but wanted to say we appreciated all the environmentally friendly measures and signs. Thanks for making our time in Verona extra special.
