This was maybe the only major chain hotel in Ako at this time. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me and my only drawback I found was the lack of amenities. Ako for me was a must so this was the only real choice I had; now the real big plus is that it is attached to this small train station creating a possible future anchor spot in town.

1 night, 2 meals, standard Japanese-style room, 10 tatami mats (no bath) / with shower (no indoor bath), for 2 adults, when we arrived at the hotel, there was a hotel staff member who guided our car, we dropped off our luggage and carried it to the parking lot ourselves, it was full because we arrived late, so the hotel staff felt sorry for us as we had to turn around and park our car, and guided us, after we checked in and were given tea and sweets, we were shown to our room when we finished eating, on the way we listened to the guide to the hotel, it's not a big hotel, but there were free drinks, sake tasting, sweets, etc., when we entered the room and listened to the guide to the room, they explained it to us carefully, the room was not that big, but it was spacious enough for two people to relax, and the amenities were the bare minimum, even if there was no bath in the room, the large public bath was enough, it was nice to have ice cream and free drinks after the bath, the chairs in the lobby were also unique, so it might be a good idea to find a chair that suits you, it would be nice to sit on a chair and watch the sunset, or wake up early in the morning and watch the sunrise, both the sunrise and sunset were beautiful, I wish we had a little more time. The large one was the size of the 4 family with 2 children (3 washrooms). Alexa was installed in the room. There were two mineral waters in the refrigerator for service. I was satisfied except that the air conditioning sound set in the cooling was large because of old. The room was beautiful. There were quite a few restaurants nearby and I want to have breakfast that the inn boasts next time.
