Very convenient location, connected to JR Asahikawa. However room is small, if you have more than one big luggage and it will be quite challenging to open all the luggage at the same time. What really makes this a wonderful experience is how homey Michael and his family personalize the experience. The breakfast they offer with the eggs benedicts are high quality as are the cafe drinks. They really enjoy getting to know their customers and provide a touch of hospitality that resembles a modern day bed and breakfast. This stay was a very memorable one and they went well out of their way to help us and provide ideas to improve our vacation. The one downside to this property is that the bathrooms are really small and the parking for the hotel isn’t immediately evident (you have to park in the gravel lot across the street where they have signs).

The room was quite good, a standard apartment. The bathroom was a bit small. The washing machine shelf was not installed securely. The washing machine almost wandered into the room. There was dust under the washing machine and it was not cleaned. The hotel is in a very good location, close to JR station and close to shopping malls, restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel does not provide an email address, only a phone number and does not understand Chinese or English. Every time something happens, I have to ask Ctrip to make suggestions. It is recommended that Ctrip develop a chat page with the landlord similar to Airbnb.
