The hot water that the Shogun's hot water pumped up had a high ceiling and the warmth of the wood was very tasteful. The smell of sulfur, the amount of hot water, the slightly white and muddy color ... The quality of Kusatsu Onsen is really good. Flowers and artworks are displayed in the hallways in the hall, making you feel rich. The accommodation fee is a reasonably high inn, but I thought I was spending enough money properly. The employees were always greeted when they saw it, and it was very pleasant. I wanted to drink beer after taking a bath, so I searched for a lounge where I could drink light draft beer, but I didn't. However, there is a cafe with an inn right next door, and you can drink local beer (unfortunately you can't drink draft beer). Because the car is normal tires (because I was worried about snowfall), this time I left my car at the parking lot at the Kusatsuguchi exit of JR Naganohara and went to Kusatsu Onsen by bus. I don't think it's very publicized (I told you to park the car at the Naganohara Kusatsuguchi at the time of booking the inn, but there is no explanation from the inn), but Naganohara Kusatsuguchi ~ Kusatsu Onsen round-trip bus is Park & Ride discount will be 30 % draw (parking ticket required). Since it is downhill from Kusatsu Bus Terminal to the inn (about 5 minutes), it will be a good walk while looking at the hot spring town. I think it is better to use the transfer bus of the inn because it will be climbing on the return.
The ryokan has a history of fifty years. It occupies a large area, the surrounding environment is quiet, and the scenery is beautiful. It is more Japanese-style than regular hotels. It is a 5-minute walk from Kusatsu Ski Resort and Nishinokawa Park is also nearby. Close at hand. The town of Kusatsu Hot Spring is not big. It takes up to twelve minutes to walk from the hotel to Yudan in the center of the town. There are many small shops along the way. I don’t think it takes too long, and the owner’s service is very good. At the bus terminal, we went out one night. Because the road was slippery in the snow, the boss asked about it and provided pick-up. The reason for the smooth communication is that the boss can speak Chinese and has worked in Guangzhou and Taipei for six or seven years, which is also a big advantage. I heard from the boss that Kusatsu is only 25 degrees in summer and it is also suitable for vacations, so I personally recommend this hotel.
There is no doubt that everyone can enjoy it
It is located a 5minute walk from Kusatsu Onsens sightseeing spot Yubatake and you can rent out the entire 3rd floor of the 3story building
There is a free allyoucandrink space
1 minute walk to a convenience store
30 seconds walk to a supermarket
We have free wifi so you can use it for telework
Caution
There is no elevator up to the 3rd floor where you will be staying
Residents live on the lower floor 2nd floor Please spend the night quietly
Particularly satisfied, especially satisfied! Although this place is really biased, we checked out from the last place, went to Tokyo, and got off at 8 o'clock. Because I missed a bus, I could only wait for an hour in Takasaki City. Tram, then transfer bus to Kusatsu Onsen Station, we set the dinner, it is a pity to catch up, at 4 o'clock, Ctrip contacted the customer service to help us communicate, the hotel replied that if we arrived around 8 o'clock, give us After the meal, we really got off at 8 o'clock. The result was a delay in navigation and positioning. It was cold outside, positioned while walking, and finally led us to a very long and long staircase. My two friends’ boxes were super big, and they were not. Knowing how far the road is, I let them be sheltered by the cold wind. I went up to the hotel alone. I didn’t have any traffic lights. I only had one cell phone with no signal at night, and I was enough. Enough, there is a hotel on the path, asked the way, even wifi and basin friends said to wait a little longer, but also a part of the road, ran for a while, there is a road, many signs on the road sign have a hotel name, There is our hotel in it. I immediately ran in the direction. It was almost 9 o'clock when I arrived. After communicating with the Japanese staff of the hotel staff, the other staff member was Chinese. ! I came over with the little brother and drove the potted friends, and then went directly to the restaurant and ate. We enjoyed the dinner for three of us. We just went to the restaurant. After we finished eating, we said that we went out for a lap and the results were less than 1000 meters. I was afraid to come back. The hot springs are also our private places. Hahaha, the result is not so long. There is a place to drink outside. This ice water is really suitable for the hot spring drink. Back to the 3rd floor room, there is a elevator next to it. Convenience cabinet, it is strongly recommended that the peach wine in the peach flavor is 3 degrees. In this case, buy one, buy another flavor, but the other is sold out, there are particles inside, the taste is my 7 days before the trip. The only favorite drink for 5 days. The Japanese-style room we stayed in, when we checked in our luggage, the bed was laid out for us. There is a bathrobe, the quilt is very fluffy, very thick, we booked breakfast at 7:30 in the morning, please ask the staff to drive us to the station, we also want to visit the attractions, the result of the driver also went to the station to help us change Change! After we put the boxes in the store, we took the spots we went to! Originally, we just wanted to send us to the location of the attraction. After we finished, we dragged our luggage and went to the station. After all, we spent a day from Osaka. It’s impossible to say that we left. We stayed here in Tangchi. Hours, reluctantly walked back to the station and set off for Tokyo. By the way, the surrounding shops can go shopping with special products, I bought 6 hand creams to give people, and I don’t have enough points to go back, and I didn’t see it on a certain treasure, there is also a food limited by Kusatsu Onsen. A box of cheese and chocolate flavors, not bad, only to buy a box. In short, we spent a day rushing over and spent another 4 hours back to Tokyo, really worth it! All kinds of satisfaction! The staff, the Japanese sister in the lobby, the Japanese driver, and our Chinese brother, the other staff are also very good. People who want to go, don't want to travel as fast as we do, hahaha. Otherwise, there is no way to wear a bathrobe to go to the street at night. It’s really cold at night, and the ears are freezing.
I visited 12/30. I stayed in a chick bean room. ● Good points • There are 4 private hot springs (flowing directly from Yubata source), and they are not full at any time and I put them in when I like. • Welcome sweets were very delicious. • Self-service seasonal flavor water was fashionable and tasted good. Especially the red jiso drink was delicious. • Breakfast is beautiful, cute and delicious. The rice balls and miso soup were refilled. • The staff who greeted me brightly and politely when I saw off was good. • The location is a little sloped, but it is very close to Yubatake, so it is convenient for sightseeing. • I thought that the concept of the inn was only young people, but that wasn't the case. • Corona measures were also solid. I could choose the breakfast time in detail and eat it in a state like a private room. Except for seeing two groups at check-in, I never passed by other people in the hall. ● Bad points • I was a little worried about the smell of the room. • The scenery is not visible in the location. (Is it depending on the room? ??) I thought that I was doing my best with a small but warm and ingenious hospitality. The concept is also clear ◎. I think it is a good inn that remains firmly in the impression!
Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this inn, while the furniture /wooden shelves are dated, it is clean and spacious and comfortable. The rooms are fantastically large, with a living room area with a giant TV and lounging sofa. The low table provided ample space to lay out all the things you need for your stay. There is also a shower and toilet in your room, yukatas, towels, hairdryer, etc. It is suitable for up to 4 people staying together, and also suitable for families. The owner/ staff of the ryokan are wonderfully hospitable and speak excellent English. He introduced himself and explained how to get a private onsen room. He also thoughtfully installed Nintendo games in my room to help pass the time till bedtime, I got super Mario. Onsen: There are 3 private onsen rooms, and a system where a closed door means the onsen is occupied, while an open one means you can use it. The doors are lockable of course. There is no time limit on how long you can use it, or how many times you can use it. Outside the onsen room area is amenities like water and another large sitting area where you can wait for an onsen room if all are occupied. There are wonderful vintage arcade games that are lovingly maintained by the owner, such as Pac-Man. Sleep: The futon beds are a layer of foam mattress above a thick memory foam mattress, which were very comfortable and I slept well. Even though there were children in the room next door, I couldn’t hear them at all. Did not book any meals there so can’t comment on the food. The staff/ owner, knowing that I didn’t book meals, very generously offered maps of good restaurants nearby within Kuwait’s that I could go. On checkout, knowing that I hadn’t had breakfast, the staff/ owner gave me a voucher for free coffee at a small coffee shop n nearby. The thoughtfulness of the staff/ owner is very much appreciated and made my stay memorable.

Outstanding
GGuest UserVery close to Kusatsu Onsen, just around the corner, good location.
Parking spaces are a bit limited, so driving by yourself depends a bit on luck.
The room is very good, the boss is very nice, the food is delicious and exquisite.
NNat_SThe location is perfect, right on the main square. But this ryokan doesn’t ready for foreign travelers, even Signboard only in Japanese. Workers doesn’t speak English also. And there is no kayseki dinner. In the room you’ll have matcha tea and beautiful tableware, traditional clothes. For breakfast you should choose time 7:30 or 8:30 and it’s so big (2 photo), but for me was very salty. There is two onsen - outside and inside on different floors.
XXIANGA very old hot spring hotel is also the cheapest one in the area. At this price, it was in line with expectations. It arrived a half hour earlier, and it also smoothly let CI. Just like a small Japanese-style hostel, the clerks do not speak English, and they communicate with me in Japanese with no more than 10 sentences. The room is older, but there is everything there, and the bathrobes are beautiful. The hot springs are all public, there is no private soup, and the toilets are also public. There is a squat pit and a toilet. The toilets have to line up that morning. The sense of form at dinner is still in line with the routine of Japanese hot spring hotels. The dishes are ok, and the breakfast is a bit disappointing. It is all carbon water, and the hot spring eggs are not. The geographical location is an extra point. This town has many mountain roads. His home is a 1-minute walk from the bus station, and it will not be very tired to go up and down, let alone ask the hotel to drive to pick it up.
According to these circumstances, it is okay to give 4 points, but I don't recommend everyone to live, because this house has hidden charges, and in winter it will charge 500 warm house fee and 150 hot spring water tax. There is no mention on the booking page. If the hot spring tax is not unfamiliar to people who frequent Japan, what is called the warm house fee is very strange. Communicate with the store. They showed me their official website, which means that there is a statement. I said that I didn't set it on the official website. I have no way of knowing it. I prefer to believe that the owner ’s idea is pure and not intentional, but doing business is very frustrating. No wonder it takes up such a good position and does not renovate. Similar hotels that have been renovated next door can sell twice as much. Of course, the result of the matter itself is still good. This hidden charge problem was later subsidized to me by Ctrip. I praised Ctrip customer service and dealt with it in a particularly efficient and professional manner. The reasons for not recommending are: 1. Difficulty in communication. I went to the next few places and visited. Although the English is not fluent, it is obviously much better. There are local characteristics (I changed to the hotel the next day); 3. In addition to the so-called warm house fee, his family's original price advantage of only three or fifty rmb will no longer exist, and you can choose the same price slightly more expensive, Choose the few hotels, the single room price is also in this grade, but the conditions are much better, anyway, this one also experiences impenetrable Japanese feeling, if you really want to experience Japanese feeling, you can choose a hotel above 1500rmb.
GGuest User5/2 I stayed in room 201, which was about 10 tatami mats and had 4 bunk beds. It was 4,200 yen per person + 200 yen for heating + 200 yen for sheets = 4,600 yen. Due to the influence of the coronavirus, there was no bath but only a shower. (It's a hot spring, so if you can't take a bath, you should let them know in advance.) The heating in the lobby was turned off even though I had set aside the heating fee, and when I went into the room and turned on the heating, it wouldn't turn on, probably because it was broken. The cafeteria was occupied by students in the group and I was unable to use it. Therefore, even though I came to the hot springs, I couldn't use the hot springs, and I kept saving money for heating, and even though it was snowing outside, there was no heating, and I couldn't eat freely. It was a crappy hotel that was a rip-off.

Ssakunoai iTake a leisurely stroll through Kusatsu ♡ Walk around the city surrounded by the scent of hot springs while enjoying the difference between daytime and night scenery! Matsumura Manju is a must-buy sweetness! It is the strongest to eat freshly made. I also had matcha! You can enjoy it slowly even for one night!
Municipal Hot Spring Library.
AangelaThe hot spring library is near the Kusatsu Station. I accidentally visited it. It introduced some hot spring information. It didn't have much meaning. If you don't have time, you don't have to go. There are still some hot spring towns to visit and eat.
Kusatsu Tsurutaro Kataoka Museum
__cc***80Ketaro Kanooka is not only a self-contained painting and calligraphy, but also very inventive in porcelain production. One of the night cherry-pictures also features Su Shi's words, which is very kind when you see a Tibetan-themed work. The exhibits are also allowed to take pictures, which is rare in Japanese galleries. The mobile phone photo is too scum, the exhibits are really worth seeing.
Sainokawara Park
