Ok, this one is difficult to rate.
The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place.
But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road.
There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat.
You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that.
Toilets, bath, all is shared.
Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while.
The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did.
I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least.
The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling.
Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.
Recently, there are business hotels with large baths, but here, the price is not so good, and I received a reservation for one person at the hot spring inn, so I thought what it was, and I stayed in a breakfast plan. It's nice to spend alone while taking a leisurely bath. In front of the front desk, there is a counter facing the pond facing the garden, and it is blurred by one person while drinking coffee at night and drinking coffee during the daytime. It's quiet and calm. There is a museum of the wife Koyujo and the couple in Miyoshi City, but there is a gallery of the painting of Genshu Okuda, his disciple, and the member of the Nikko exhibition, and I intend to do nothing but blur, but in addition to thinking I walked around the building. Breakfast was a buffet, but I wanted to eat dinner here at a level that was satisfactory with the mass. There is also a choice of staying overnight, but the convenience store will walk about 10 minutes, so it was correct to have breakfast. The room seems to be a room where you can stay up to 2 people in a Japanese room, but it is not so large, and the futon sinks quite with a soft mattress, so my waist hurts. It's warm because it's close to the body, but I don't think it suits me. It was a love that the air conditioner that was quite old was working with bull bull. The reasonable comfort you feel in a new business hotel recently was also quite different for a person to spend time with. Yes, so here's hot springs don't smell sulfur, so just be careful.
I am very satisfied with the location, the politeness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the low price because it is a go to travel. You can have breakfast for an additional fee, but I didn't go there because I didn't have breakfast or dinner at the restaurant during this trip. If I had to order one thing, it was the humidifier I rented, which was filled with water (about 1/3 of the time) from customers who didn't know when they used it. When I looked at other hotels, I thought it would be better to do so because the guests often enter the hotel by themselves.
Unless you want to camp in a tent, this is the only accommodation option on Okuno Island. Next to the dock on the island, there will be a shuttle bus that will accompany the arrival time of the boat to the hotel entrance. The hotel facilities are simple, but there are some; Most rooms do not have a bathroom, so to take a bath, you have to go to the large bathing area on both sides of the hotel. People who don't want to go to the big bathing area, remember to make an appointment with a bathroom and a Western-style room. The lobby on the first floor has an area for simple meals, and there is a restaurant for three meals in the depths. The restaurant is self-service and the dishes are very rich and delicious, which is worth it! In the evening and morning, the lobby will also provide guided activities on the island, or there are activities in the lobby for children to draw. Although it seems that there are many tourists who go to the island to play rabbits for a short time, they will find that there are actually many people who stay here for one night. It is strongly recommended to stay on Okuno Island for one night. You can play rabbits on the island at any time. Before eating, after eating, before going to bed, after getting up, after breakfast, you can always think of walking out of the hall and there will be rabbits that cannot enter. Collection! You can also have time to walk around the island and enjoy the scenery of the island!
It is a hotel near the town preservation district, about 15 minutes walk from the station. 1F has a laundry area and a souvenir shop (small but beside the front desk), which seemed to be for both tourists and business guests. I made a reservation about two weeks before my stay, but the single was already full and it became a Japanese-style room. It may have been too wide for one person because it was between 8 tatami mats. The futon was comfortable to sleep in, but I don't know about the meal because I stayed without meals (1 night 6000 yen). As in many reviews, there were certainly old parts. When I was walking in the corridor, I sometimes groaned. On the other hand, the elevator and the water area in the room were new. However, the faucet was too long, and it seemed that it was difficult to do it when washing my face. Also, the bathtub was strangely small. I wondered if the rinse-in shampoo and body soap were not so foaming. Does it mean that you will use the large communal bath as much as possible? There is no sound insulation on the door of the room (not auto lock), so if you speak loudly, it will leak. It was a room facing the courtyard, but if it is a room facing the street, it seems to echo from the outside. Also, probably because it was on the top floor (2F), I felt ”hot” when I entered the room. It was cool at night, but midsummer may be tough. Because it is old, there are some difficulties with color 々, but I had the impression that it would not be particularly hindered if I didn't care about the details (if you are dissatisfied with this price, it would be safer to make another inn from the beginning). At check-in, the staff took the trouble to guide me to the elevator. Also, I still recommend a certain ”local work”.
Arrived on the final flight of Hiroshima Airport and headed for a car rental. There are also seven eleven on the way. The road is a bit difficult to understand, but it arrives from the airport in 10 minutes. The parking lot is also convenient because it is in front of the hotel. I chose a king size bed, so the bed is large and the room is large and comfortable. There is also a feeling of cleanliness and comfort. It seems that the humidifier was prepared in the order of the early ones, but it was late, so there was only a small one. The public bath was an open-air bath and the bathtub was large and slow, so it was a rental. There was a rest place and there were comics and magazines. It seems to be fun even if you arrive early.
