This is the hotel I stayed for the last night in Sri Lanka. The boss service is very good, but the interior decoration is average, the bath has no hot water, it is cold to death, and mosquitoes. I was awakened by mosquitoes at night. The outside environment is very good. Walk for 5 minutes. I went to the vegetable market and cooked some noodles by myself. Those who are not very demanding can choose to stay. By the way, the breakfast is very good, but I only ate a little.

This was the second stop on this island, and we were very lucky with the choice of this Hotel. A wonderful room, everything is thought out and done with taste.Comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed here. The people was very helpful and unobtrusively helped us. incomparable breakfasts, specially selected for you. Departed for Sri Lanka on September 28, 2023, and checked into the Amangalla Hotel in Galle Fort. It was the sixth Aman hotel to check in. It felt great. Amangalla was built in the 17th century. It was formerly a military command in the Netherlands. It later became the first hotel in Sri Lanka. It was acquired by the Aman Group in 1995. The hotel is not big, but it is well-equipped with swimming pools, massage pools, yoga rooms, etc. , you can experience local shaving services and foot massages. Amangalla is the smallest Aman I have ever stayed in. It is in the middle of the ancient city of Galle and a 10-minute walk from the lighthouse. The surrounding area is very convenient for eating, drinking and entertainment. There is the Tuna and the Crab restaurant, which is a brother restaurant of the one-Michelin-star restaurant in Colombo. If you have enough money, you can try it. Be sure to choose his tea plantation tour, which will also take you to see the sea turtle hatching base and stilt fishing. It was very interesting. Although I fell off and stepped on a rock while fishing on stilts and was injured, I gained interesting photos and a rare life experience. The ancient city of Galle is also worth visiting. Amangalla can arrange cars and tour guides. The hotel is right in the center of the ancient city. The location is good and it is very convenient to go everywhere. Although I fell into the sea while fishing on stilts and cut my feet. All in all, it was still a very interesting experience. The two Amans in Sri Lanka are different from the ones we stayed in before. They are far away from Colombo and do not provide free airport pick-up services. The airport pick-up fee for the five of us was about US$400 in a large amanganla. It should be noted that if two Aman activities are booked for consecutive days, they generally need to be booked from the official website, not Ctrip agents.

We had the most remarkable honeymoon at Saman Villas. I was back after 3 years and the property is impeccably maintained and after a major upgrade, which I could tell from the moment I stepped in. New furniture, advance lighting, brand new decor, the suites had a lovely facelift too, especially the walking closet & bathroom with indoor shower cubicle, great lighting & full mirror in the dressing room, not missing out it’s old world charms like the outdoor tub. We loved how easy & convenient it was, basically just a flick of a button to get anything. The views are next to none! I’m always lost for words to describe such majestic ocean views surrounding us from every direction. The food was fantastic! Every meal we had was absolutely delicious. All home grown, fresh ingredients. We especially loved the Sri Lankan food which was surprising as we are locals but it was different, like an elevated version of Sri Lankan flavours. The staff are really the best! After all the difficulties Sri Lankan tourism has faced since 2019, it was so refreshing to be welcomed by the same familiar faces, eager to make our stay unforgettable. Special mention to Dinushi & the GM Wester Feltman for spoiling us. Every staff member we met was equally friendly & hospitable as if it’s ingrained in their DNA. We can’t recommend Jetwing Saman Villas enough. It truly is a special place. Thank you so much for the magical & joyful stay!

This was a beautiful hotel. The location is great because it is inside the Galle Fort. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. There was air conditioning and a fan. The shower drain was a bit slow which caused the water to overflow a little. We only stayed here one night, but overall a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Budget stay that was very well priced. The location was fantastic, it was opposite the old fort walls, which meant we also had a brilliant view of the sea. The hosts were very friendly and were happy to give us advice on where to go. They showed us up to the terrace were we would be able to see views of the sea and the sunsets in the evening. These views did not disappoint. I stayed with my sister and her boyfriend. We had 1 double bed and 1 single bed which was perfect! The room was basic, but we were expecting that for the price we paid. There was a television in the room which was a surprise, not that we watched it. The only 2 negative points were that the bathroom door did not lock properly and the Wi-Fi was really poor. The wifi probably would not have bothered us that much if we were just staying for one night, but we were there for 3 nights and it made it quite difficult for us planning our next destination and how to get there and where to stay etc. There are plenty of really wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again if we needed somewhere to stay for one night.

Needless to say jetwing, Lanka's high-end resort hotel brand. Although this is a franchise store and not a direct store, it uses its management team and its products. Small details need to be strengthened. A lot of food is shipped from the lighthouse hotel next to it, so the service time is relatively long, there is no bathtub, and the water output is slightly smaller. The manager is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. The other waiters are less experienced in internships and have poor English communication skills. Overall it is good, the environment has nothing to say, the quiet and private is generally satisfactory.
