We absolutely LOVED our stay at Perla Dhangethi. We traveled with our 12 year old son and a group of friends staying for 2 weeks and it was honestly the BEST vacation we've had ever... and we travel a ton. The accommodations are very comfortable and provided plenty of space. The beds were extremely comfortable, the AC worked well, the hot shower was always a warm welcome after a long day of EPIC adventures with the Perla staff. We went whale shark swimming, reef snorkeling, manta ray swimming, nurse shark swimming, sand bank snorkeling and lunch, abandoned island exploration and MORE. Our excursions were beyond incredible and the Perla guides were absolute experts. The gursthouse grounds are lush and welcoming. The staff is friendly and warm. What else can I say? This was a 10/10 stay for sure. If you book here you will not regret it. Folks who stay here are not treated like random guests, they are treated like family and that's how we felt the entire time. We can't wait to return.

The food is very good, the buffet is rich in variety and changes every day. There are not many people, the facilities and services of the pool and bar are very good. Conditions for snorkeling are mediocre, but the beach is beautiful.

It's a great resort. The facilities are not very luxurious, but they are very thoughtful and have everything you need. The water house also has a jacuzzi, which is very enjoyable. The scenery is great, and you can see a lot of things while snorkeling. You can usually see small sharks on the beach while walking around the resort. At this accommodation price, it is a perfect experience. There are very few Chinese people here. I saw two on the first day on the island, but none after that. They were basically European. I brought my family with me for vacation🏖️. The employees were very nice. There was a Chinese-speaking teacher on the first day on the island. My sister helped me check in, but I didn't see him for the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to play well with my loose English. In short, if the budget is limited, this resort is definitely the best choice. You can stay for a few more days. The scenery and services will not be discounted. I will go again if I have the opportunity!

I don’t know where to start on explaining just how incredible Outrigger is. From the moment you step onto the island you are made to feel special and looked after. We were greeted by Moosa who went above and beyond for the duration of our holiday to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted us to have the best time in his country and love it as much as he does. He was always on call to answer any questions we had and responded so quickly and it was so lovely to know there was someone there to help us if we ever needed. The staff at Outrigger are who truly make the island so special. Any island in the Maldives is going to be beautiful and we have been fortunate enough to visit others, but the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff are what puts Outrigger above the rest. We joked that they had a secret chat as somehow everyone knew your name before you met them and greeted you with a smile. It was the little things that really made the holiday. Things like Sashi helping carry our plates to the table at the cuisine gallery, Alan remembering a conversation with us the night before and telling us about a nurse shark that had swam past the restaurant when he bumped into us the next day, Jameel always coming to check in about our day when he saw us, housekeeping reading our minds with things like extra bath mats and towels we needed and Arfaau telling us stories about growing up in the Maldives. We also want to mention Aminul From Koffee and chill. We visited everyday and he always greeted us with a huge smile and convinced us to eat more cake! We also made use of the spa and were truly spoilt. The staff were so thoughtful and extra careful with the sunburn we had for after spending hours snorkelling in the amazing reef around the island. I haven’t even touched upon the food and how blown away we were with every single meal! We honestly cannot recommend Outrigger enough and have been raving about it to anyone who will listen since we have been back. On our last night there we were already working out how many months it would take for us to save up to return. We just want to say a massive thanks to everyone at Outrigger for making this the holiday of a lifetime!

Very good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.

Nova Resort was chosen after much online research. It was our first visit to the Maldives and so this review contains no comparisons to previous Maldivian experiences. The headline summary is however, that after over 30 years of holidaying as a couple, this resort and holiday ranks as number one. From the moment we arrived, to when we left, we couldn’t find a fault with the staff or the facilities. A holiday in paradise where we were perfectly looked after. The number of guests that the complex accommodates is up to about 180. (There are more staff than guests). It means that it never felt busy. We were there in late February and didn’t get troubled by mosquitoes or other insects. Not sure whether that is a benefit of when we visited or is the norm. It is worth noting that the entire resort has undergone a renovation approximately 18 months ago and so none of the facilities are ‘tired’. Staff Without exception, every member of staff was pleasant, had a smile on their face and went out of their way to make sure that you were happy and well looked after. This included the ‘behind the scenes’ staff such as the maintenance and house keeping teams. Discussions with staff confirmed that Nova looks after their employees and that probably goes along way to them recruiting and retaining staff with the right attitude. Dining Most meals were taken at the ‘Soul Kitchen’ which was a buffet and self service. The food was varied with daily choices to suit all tastes. The buffet area where the food is collected is a separate air-conditioned room from the dining area. This ensured that the food was kept in a temperature controlled environment. The waiting staff were amazing - kept our drinks topped up, water glasses refilled and plates cleared as we finished each course. They worked hard, but importantly there were enough staff on duty all the time. We ate at ‘Flames’ on three occasions, where it is a fully-served ‘a la carte’. The quality of the food and the service was excellent, but not all dishes were included as part of the ‘all inclusive’ package. That felt a bit strange and maybe it would be better to give a financial ‘allowance’ to all-inclusive diners rather than a small discount off some dishes. As an example, you could have a 220g rib-eye steak as part of the package, but you have to pay for a 220g sirloin steak. We also paid extra for the ‘Fish BBQ on the beach’, which was excellent, but again felt that maybe more than a 15% discount as an all-inclusive guest would have been appropriate. Diving The diving experiences and the team at ‘Aquaholics’ were super. One of the most professional outfits that I have dived with. Whilst the corals in the area are badly bleached, the marine life is fantastically varied and plentiful. Successful trips were organised to snorkel with Whale Sharks and dive with Manta Rays. That coupled with the ‘normal’ sharks, napoleon wrasse, turtles etc etc made for a memorable week of dives. The dive crew knew their dive sites

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Centara Grand Resort in the Maldives. The entire staff was amazing and incredibly kind throughout my stay. The Centara Grand Resort is a true paradise, and the exceptional staff, including Nabeel and Chanapha, made my stay even more memorable. I can't wait to return and experience their top-notch hospitality once again.
