Walk another 150 to 200 meters and you're here.
No elevator.
The conditions are average and fairly clean.
Transit hotel is cost-effective.

Take a taxi from the airport for more than 10 minutes, close to the beach, and you can see the sea directly from the balcony. The environment is very good. The service attitude is good. There is a boy named ”Subao” who is very good at talking, very smart and very humorous. Hotel facilities in general, breakfast is relatively monotonous, the same every day, but the price is there, relatively speaking is still possible. The network is not very good. I have lived in several homes with this problem. It may be like this. For hardware requirements are not high, you can choose here.

We have two four-seat sacks for vacation. As a night of over-the-counter hotel, it is quite satisfactory, the price is low, the hotel is considered hygienic, breakfast is delivered, and the pick-up service is also available! But pick up the plane and you need to arrive at the airport and look for the lady holding the Newtown Inn brand, then confirm the name just fine. The next morning, a gas-sending seaplane requires a $20 service fee per room, which is reasonable. In addition, the hotel also provides a dollar replacement service, remember that the little brother helped check the baggage for a tip.

Stayed for two nights Pros: Compared with the surrounding prices, it’s much cheaper. Generally clean. The location is great. It’s only one block from the beach. There are also many small restaurants nearby. Cons: 1. I made an appointment for the airport pick-up but didn’t come. After waiting for half an hour, I called again, but said that we could not come, and we had to go by car. 2. It was generally clean, but there were small stains on the bed sheets and bath towels. 3. Said that the credit card machine was broken and could only accept cash. It was not fixed until the last day. 4. OK The former email asked the hotel to help book 1 DAY TOUR, but when I arrived, I found that there was no confirmation and the price was 10-20 yuan higher than the email (I asked the store next to H78 for a cheaper price, but I decided to trust the hotel and booked with the hotel at a more expensive price. However, I later found out that the store next to H78 is recommended to undertake the itinerary as a whole) If you don’t care about the details, you can check in

Wir hatten das Zimmer auf def obersten Etage und es war eher wie eine kleine Wohnung und sehr groß. Der Balkon war nicht einsehbar und hatte einen tollen Blick auf den Ozean. An einem Abend konnten wir sogar Delfine entdecken. Unsere Tochter hatte ein süßes kleines Bett, welches für Kinder bis ca. 10 Jahre super geeignet ist, wir hatten ein großes King-Size Bett. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut. Das Badezimmer war ausreichend groß und hatte auch etwas Ablagefläche. Der Hoteleigentümer Nasir war sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen, sodass wir am nächsten Morgen auch Kaffee auf dem Zimmer hatten. Für ein paar Tage mehr als okay! We had the room on the top floor and it was more like a small apartment and very large. The balcony was not visible and had a great view of the ocean. One evening we could even spot dolphins. Our daughter had a cute little bed which is great for kids up to about 10 years old, we had a big king size bed. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was large enough and also had some storage space. The hotel owner Nasir was very accommodating and eager to fulfill our wishes, so we also had coffee in the room the next morning. For a few days more than okay!

My stay was just a night. I arrived at the hotel at 19:00hrs. Booked by Agoda, the Hotel staff recognised me. After Quick check-in, they gave me the key. First no orientation. I didn't know where to go to find my room. It was 201. I asked the front desk which direction I have to go? After that, the hotel staff took me upstairs & shows my room. That's fine. There are no Towels, in the room. I call the front desk at 19:15 and informed that I need towels. He said he is delivering a towel after a few minutes. Next day morning 10:30 I went to the front desk because I don't receive towels. And I Request for Late checkout It cost $20. I got towels 13:25. At 14:20 I went out of the hotel & I came back to the hotel at 16:55. Same staff when I get check-in was on the front desk. He was surprised because he didn't know I request late check out. He asked me still you didn't check out? In a rude manner. This is the only staff I met in this hotel which is not friendly. Negative point: WIFI speed is not bad but the signal to room 201 was very poor. Sometimes no WIFI. Plus point: Room is clean I did not try Room service, laundry & TV.

The house in the residential area has the hotel's own shuttle bus. The service is very good and will try to solve your difficulties. The room was clean and simplely renovated. The Samsung TV in the room was furnished. . Sound insulation is not very good. In addition, the neighborhood is not far from the local sports square, the sound is not generally big, more noisy. The alley through the front row of houses is the sea.

Stayed here for 8 weeks and it was a brilliant. All the staff are very warm and welcoming and simply can't do enough for you. The rooms are very well presented and immaculate. Beach is a stone throw away aswell. Gordon the chef serves up very good food aswell. Mr Hugo is always available to sort anything out, the whole team were superb. Hope to see you all again soon

The hotel is very new, the service is very good, and the location of the hotel is relatively convenient. We drove by ourselves and parking was very convenient. It only takes ten minutes to get to Ginza and 50 minutes to the airport. There is also a convenience store in the hotel. This is my second time staying here. I will choose here again.

GGuest UserStayed for two nights Pros: Compared with the surrounding prices, it’s much cheaper. Generally clean. The location is great. It’s only one block from the beach. There are also many small restaurants nearby. Cons: 1. I made an appointment for the airport pick-up but didn’t come. After waiting for half an hour, I called again, but said that we could not come, and we had to go by car. 2. It was generally clean, but there were small stains on the bed sheets and bath towels. 3. Said that the credit card machine was broken and could only accept cash. It was not fixed until the last day. 4. OK The former email asked the hotel to help book 1 DAY TOUR, but when I arrived, I found that there was no confirmation and the price was 10-20 yuan higher than the email (I asked the store next to H78 for a cheaper price, but I decided to trust the hotel and booked with the hotel at a more expensive price. However, I later found out that the store next to H78 is recommended to undertake the itinerary as a whole) If you don’t care about the details, you can check in

Just close to the road because of 1 st floor , it can be noisy sometime. But not much bothered to me. Room interior was basic. There is balcony. Enough space for relax. Bath room shower was okay but staying longer in the shower , it can be no more hot water. It may be hot water tank is not so big enough. Service was wonderful. Breakfast was okay.

GGuest UserStar Shell hotel was a complete disappointment, I would not recommend it for a family with young kids. We paid USD. 30 dollars each way for the taxi which was total a rip off. They claim it was 15 USD per room and we had two rooms but we were 2 adults and 2 kids and the rooms were small . On the airport we had to look around for the driver he was not waiting for us at the entrance of the arrivals. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm and were given our rooms half an hour later but there was a horrible sewage smell from the air conditioning it was so bad that we had to use our perfumes to diffuse the smell. The furniture was very old, the bed was creaking very badly to even sit on, the mattress was so uncomfortable that we all woke up with sore backs the next morning. The A/c to was not cooling well Our room included breakfast but without even checking our preference we were brought eggs sunny side up with 3 small pieces of sausage and 3 slices of bread, it was a complete put off. We had to meet our resort representative at the airport again, so we ended up having to pay another 30 USD to take us to the airport. This was supposed to be a private car but they put another 3 guests in the same car and told us we had to accommodate. The pictures put up are deceiving. This hotel is not good any even a one night stay… do not go to it if you have had a long flight and need to get some sleep. I would give it 0 out of 5.

There is no elevator in the hotel, but the staff will help with luggage. The room is clean and tidy. There is a water storage water heater. You can't take a shower too hard because there will be no hot water.
Overall good value for money and worth recommending to stay for one night

The bed and pillows are not very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. Recommendation: If you are looking for temporary stay, you may choose this hotel. If you are in Male to relax in a serene place, better think about other options. The first impression - the washroom was not very clean- and for anyone who travels, or at least for me personally, that is very important!

Scores very well on location, cleanliness & amenities. e.g. Just 50 steps away from the lovely Hulhumale beach & also close to cafes, restaurants, public transport, malls etc. Recently renovated, so entire property is in very good condition. Amenities like 32” LCD TV, Mini-fridge, E-Kettle, Intercom, Wardrobe & luggage rack, balcony, comfy 8” mattress & clean linen, reasonably spacious room, elevator, a small swimming pool & Spa etc make it ideal for a 1-2 nights stay. Ease transfers to & from airport as well as Male. Cab charges 4$/60 MVR for Airport Trf & 5%/75 MVR for male City Trf. 1 Km walk to Jetty for Ferry Trf. Bus Stop just 2 min walk away. Check-in & Checkout experience was smooth. Hassan was prompt to address any queries during the stay. Scores poorly on Breakfast. They offer fixed Continental Breakfast comprising of 2 slices of Bread Toast, scrambled egg, Chicken Sausage, Jam & Butter, few cut fruits, juice & tea/coffee. Even our request for Tomato Ketchup couldn't be fulfilled. Anything extra is charged. Better book without breakfast as many good Cafes are located close by. They just have a basic kitchen for serving b'fast. Any food order is arranged from their other property located 100 m away. Also, the staff needs to be trained for managing the day to day functions of housekeeping, room-service etc. The newly appointed staffers, comprising of 2 Indians, Mahesh & Feroz, are pretty raw since they lack the hospitality experience & need to be trained for the basics of hospitality for enhanced interaction with guest's. Appreciate their politeness & willingness to help guest's in whichever small way possible. Overall, strongly recommended for a short stay while in Hulhumale for quick access to airport as well as the lovely beach & cafes.

A well deserved jewel of a property which deserves more credit than most around! Went on a last minute booking the staff spoken to me offered a great rate and was very helpful even before coming to the hotel! Upon arrival to the hotel the staff greeted me and my girlfriend and we were met upon with a great receptionist Afzal who deserves more credit than most as he was very good to us and explained everything to us! However i di have to say one downside is that upon check-in late night my girlfriend felt uncomfortable as there were some local men saying something in their local language to the receptionist while we were checking in! However Afzal politely told us that they were some friends who were just joking around with him! But after that it didn't bother us! We actually enjoyed our stay we were blown away by the Deluxe room that we booked as it was just AMAZING and we have been to many hotels around and it just gave us a very comfortable vibe! It felt like home and we enjoyed every bit of our stay here! The staff was very good to us during breakfast greeted us with a smile and served us! We felt very comfortable during breakfast as well and we were happy with the service! However the only downside on breakfast is that it's a very light breakfast and not much selections at all! But overall the breakfast experience was very good! Also need to give a good review for the Housekeeping staff as well! They were very polite and very helpful asked us whether we needed anything as we extended our stay after breakfast and was having a good attitude and a breath smile! How ever i would recommend that you provide sealed bottles of fresh water in exchange to refilling the water bottles from another big bottle! Which the guests would be much more comfortable in drinking as its very important for all humans! Lastly again have to give a special thankyou for Afszal the receptionist as he was a Star! And took care of all our needs and was very professional! He made our stay feel like at home! I should know.. I am a worldwide hotelier as well! I definitely recommend this place for everyone and i will specially recommend this place for my friends if they wanna visit Hulhumale alone or with family or their girlfriend! It's completely safe! GGuest UserThe place is like the pictures, but the rooms and facilities are more worn down in real life. I stayed for a night and it was enough, couldn't imagine staying past 1 night. TV does not work, toilet has this damp smell. The reception and lobby are kind of messy, doesn’t seem like a proper reception, even makes me wonder if a guesthouse even exists here. For a slightly higher price you could find hotels way better than this, regret not looking and spending more. Thankfully the wifi works fine, and the staff is friendly.
