Excellent accommodation with beautiful and peaceful environment, allowing travelers to relax physically and mentally. If you have time, you can stay here for a few more days. It is really great. I will definitely stay here again next time I come.

Amverton hotel has clean, spacious and I think recently refurbished rooms. The room had a good split unit air conditioning unit which is important for sweltering melaka, didn't experience much of the service but the little we did was commensurate with the price we paid. Cant expect 5 star service if you don't pay 5 star prices. The telematch organized by hotel was good, the team which ran it led by Capt (rtd) Norizan was excellent. The only negatives were: 1. Phone wasn't connected when we checked in, so had to call hotel using my mobile to get a change of pillow case. 2. The pillow cases were not changed, one was dirty and the other smelly. But it would be a good place to bring the kids as the pool is big and it has some slides. 3 stars because of standard of facilities and rooms are of 3 star hotel, no complaints about service from staff.

A family of 6 frm Singapore with eldest being 17 and youngest at 7yo.. Booked 3rooms bia Booking.com @ SGD92 (2D1N) and we’re in for a surprise..! Rooms were clean, King bed were comfortable and toiletries provided.. there were beverages too (coffee and water) Open carpark with security camera.. Theres a KKMart just nearby and u can easily find food around the area.. Overall a pleasant stay! Recommended for those who wishes to look for a budget hotel or short stay!

I am not sure why this resort has had so many bad reviews. Glad I still went ahead with the trip and have no regrets doing so. The place is very relaxing. There’s a buggy service to bring us around if we are lazy to walk or electric scooters are available for guests. During weekdays and off-peak periods, they serve a la carte breakfast and, for small eaters like me and my family, the serving is considered big. The lunch cum dinner menu don’t have a wide variety but enough to fill an empty stomach. Portion is not as large as breakfast so don’t think of sharing. Staff are friendly and housekeeping plus maintenance were quick to attend to our needs. The rooms are comfortable but being in the jungle, mosquitoes and ants are inevitable so just make sure that you bring along mosquito repellents.

Seri Malaysia (government incentive) hotels is a franchise of affordable family hotel that gives value of money. The one in Ayer Keroh Melaka is meant for the touristy Ayer Keroh area with surrounding tourist attractions. Now that Ayer Keroh’s novelty is lacking from its heydays (its been 3 decades), the area lacks visitors. Seri Malaysia could do with a complete makeover as it is well located and has large grounds and good traditional architecture. But here lies the dilemma, franchisee cannot afford the huge refurb cost so it remains as it is. Some rooms have been refurbished with carpet and drapes changed but the old fixtures are still there that takes back to its glory 30 years back. Common (not in room) ironing facilities and self service laundry machines. Service is lacklustre (the staff do try to do their best, mind you) maybe due to low morale because of sp**** occupants. Food is so so. With tourism struggling, there are many hotels that offer low rates to survive. It is the buyers market. Seri Malaysia may not be able to offer any lower rates but they can attract with better quality service and restaurant, perhaps with bundled tourist products and meeting package.
