Very good value for money by staying here and close to everything. I didn't have a hire car so walked everywhere and I was close to everything I needed and easy walking distance. Motel is run by a nice family, always willing to answer questions and I felt very welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again. The decor, and bed linen etc is older style, but homely and comfortable. Highly recommend. Has onsite laundry too which is fantastic.

The hotel is located on the edge of FRANZE GLACIER. It is very convenient to go to the trail the next day to see the glacier. It is very convenient, motel, suite, with kitchen, it feels great!

Brilliant location and views, amazing cabins and quiet. We decided to stay here for 2 nights after the rain had settled in and slow our trip down. The location is approximately 5 kilometres out of Franz Josef itself but the benefit is the peace and quiet and large cabins. The cabins had a well kitted out full kitchen, large lounge and dining room and good sized bathroom. There were 2 heaters in the room which kept us toastie warm all night. There were DVDs in the reception for you to use free of charge and the gentleman at the reception was friendly and gave us some fresh milk to enjoy a cuppa with upon arrival. We will definitely be going back and staying on our next trip to NZ.

The hotel itself is very comfortable, the parking lot and the room are very large, the bedding quality is good, with a heater, it is not cold in the winter 9 nights. The bathroom has plenty of space in the bathtub and the hot water is warm. There are loungers at the entrance to enjoy the lawn, a small breakfast and homely but enough. However, it is not easy to drive from Queenstown all the way. (Don't open the night road in New Zealand, there are all mountain roads without lights). The location of the hotel is not in the town, a little distance, but it is very close to the glacier on the helicopter. It can catch up in the morning and get a high score.

I had an excellent experience at Glow Worm Accommodation in Franz Josef! The room was really cute and provided everything we needed. They even provided free vegetable soup for dinner and breakfast in the morning. My friend and I felt very safe throughout the duration of our stay. I will definitely be coming back the next time I pass through town. Thank you!

A stunning modern studio room with a spa bath. Small outside terrace with Mountain View. Everything we needed and easy walk to small local town which suited us perfectly. Extra-large bed exceptionally comfortable. Very tight vehicle through-fare because of limited parking space outside rooms and slightly thoughtless parkers. Exceptional local scenery driving to Fran’s Joseph and onward down to Wanaka.

The town is small, and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk everywhere. The front desk of this hotel was shared with another one and was not found at first. The cabin didn't look good, but it was cleaned and it was comfortable to live in. The hotel also takes you to watch fireflies for free at night

Overall it was a particularly good choice near the fox glacier, and all the rooms were fully booked on the day. The cabin is equipped with the kitchen utensils needed, but there is no dishwasher. The only fly in the ointment is that there is a bathroom, which is used in line, but overall it is the best choice.

Be sure to stay in the Deluxe Forest Suite. The privacy is as high as being surrounded by the forest.
The room configuration is 10 points clean, and the overall feeling is comfortable. 10 points suitable for couples and families

CCatherine GExcellent stay! Great value! No complaints! The check in was very easy. Parking right outside the accommodation. Close to all the amenities. Warm and comfy. Only thing I could advise, compared to other accommodations is having a smart tv to watch things like netflix. (Seems to be the trend across hotels) Everything else amazing! Thank you

Lovely site, basic but perfectly adequate for our stay. The couple who look after it were really friendly and helpful. We borrowed a rice cooker to use, Only downside was kitchen didn't have much to cook with, so we had to improvise. Even cooking scrambled eggs we had no jug to make it in. Beds comfortable, one bedroom only had one bedside table so that meant I had to put stuff on window sill behind me , and it got wet. Shower was extremely good very powerful and loved the heater above you. One warning don't cook onions or spicy food , they requested that not to cook otherwise would charge you cleaning fee because of the smell!!

GGuest UserA very good hotel. The concierge will provide free valet parking. The front desk staff are also friendly and enthusiastic. They will answer and satisfy all questions. The dinner is 5 courses and the service is also very good. I am very satisfied. I will stay here next time when I go to the west coast. Will choose.

梁梁The environment is very good, there are supermarkets and restaurants next to it, the scenery outside the window of the room is beautiful, there are stoves and all kinds of kitchenware, you can cook. It's just that the internet signal in the room is not very good.

It is a great location and Georgie was incredible, going above and beyond to help us! So helpful and friendly! I highly recommend!

CCHENGStandard motel, one king bed + one small bed, one family of three, with simple kitchen equipment. There is a heater in the living room, and the small clothes that can be washed can be dried very quickly. The back of the hotel is very open and there is a pony.
