We stayed here for 2 weeks over Xmas and New Year. The hotel is beautifully located opposite Gröna Lund, and a short walk into Södermalm. The family room we had was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. The bar service was top notch. The housekeeping could have been better. But the stand-out service for us was the excellent front desk staff. Especially Stina, who was extremely helpful and made our stay perfect, despite the hiccups with housekeeping.

The rooms are very clean with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. There is a fresh wood smell from the pine floors and oak furniture. There is both a ferry and a bus stop within a 5-minute walk from the front door. Their breakfast is my favorite hotel breakfast out of all the places I’ve been in the world. There are multiple options for fresh breads, yogurts, breakfast meats, eggs cooked multiple ways, a medley of juices, and fresh coffee. The staff member named Adis was very kind and knowledgeable, and she represented both the hotel and the Swedish people well. The price was fair as well. Nacka Strand’s neighborhood is quiet compared to the middle of Stockholm, and there is a large grocery store named ICA Maxi a 20-minute walk away. There is also a shopping mall named Nacka Forum a 20-minute walk away. I would say it takes 20 minutes or less via public transportation to the middle of Stockholm. Hotel J is the best place to stay near the Stockholm area for most.

The atmosphere of the entire hotel is very pleasant, elegant but not ostentatious, colourful and friendly. At first glance, the hotel may seem to be too far from the city center, but public transportation is excellent, the transportation hub is only 3 bus stops away and the neighborhood is very pleasant. The hotel receptionists are very kind and helpful. The room is beautiful and well equipped, we were especially pleased with the bathroom shelf, which misses in many hotelrooms. We loved the city map on the wall. We had the most comfortable bed of our life. Providing mineral water and coffee daily in the room is a nice gesture. The breakfast is plentiful, with a wide selection and quality ingredients

Satisfied with finishing, simple and comfortable, breakfast is good, unexpectedly providing dinner, although very simple salad and bread, but it does save trouble and money. There is no bottled drinking water in the room, and there are no disposable items. During the stay, cleaning service is not provided, which is extremely environmentally friendly.

We went on Easter trip to Stockholm and stayed here at ApartDirect Hammarby Sjöstad. Super cozy, clean hotel apartment with a small kitchen to cook. Decent standard. The hotel is about 4-5 kilometres from central area of stockholm. Beds were comfy, sheets were clean as well.

Came to the first hotel in Sweden, the first impression is very good! Hotel check-in in the afternoon, not in advance. But the front desk service is good! There are also free fruits, drinks and snacks. The surroundings of the hotel are a bit far from the scenic spots, 2-3km away from the old city, the hotel has a kitchen, and there are supermarkets around, so you can cook your own meals easily!

When we first read the other reviews I thought there is no way this place is that good! My Wife and I were pleasantly surprised! This place is wonderful! The Staff was top notch, A special mention to so some of the front desk service, Emma Kevin and Moa! The rooms were clean , a good size and the Air conditioning worked very well. Since it was in the high 20s when we there there it was very appreciated. The bathroom was roomy with a big skylight and a big walk in shower with a rainfall shower head along with the standard one, Also the complimentary soaps were luxurious and had a wonderful aroma, Two small downsides The blackout curtains in the room were inadequate and let a lot of light into the room . We were there during the longest days of the year. Also the faucet for the sink was a waterfall type with an open area on top, It looked nice but considering people brush their teeth there and wash there hands it seems a bit unhygienic for drinking water, The restaurant had good food and it was reasonably priced. A special mention to Pernilla the hostess who found a table for us even though it was a busy night and we did not have a reservation, A breakfast buffet with everything including breads and rolls that were delicious . Last but certainly not least is the location of the hotel. It is set in a Museum Park overlooking the Fjord with some truly stunning views. It is also within walking distance of many of the great attractions in Stockholm. And right on the bus line if you do not want to walk. A true gem. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We visited Stockholm for the first time at the end of May. It was always a place we wanted to visit but had never got round to it. When Duran Duran announced they were touring again and were playing in Skansen we had to go. We did some research about which hotels were close to the concert and Hotel Hasselbacken was the closest and had great reviews. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Stockholm was a wonderful place to visit despite the somewhat rainy weather. We were welcomed to the hotel after a long day travelling and it had a very shabby chic, art deco classy feel to it. It was vibrant but still had nice personal touches like free coffee and fresh fruit in reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was lovely and comfortable. We only had breakfast at the hotel but that was very nicely presented and plentiful with great choices available. The location of the hotel was perfect. My wife and I love exercising and used the hotel gym and took advantage of the fantastic scenic park routes right outside the hotel door. While we didn't have our children with us Skansen was obviously a great place to take kids of all ages with museums, parks and fun fairs. We would highly recommend Hotel Hasselbacken and would definitely book again if we are lucky enough to go back. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for a fantastic stay.
