TLDR: + super friendly staff and speak English well + nice clean airconditioned quiet rooms + breakfast pastries, fried eggs, and choice + good coffee + nice wellness and good priced great massage + easy parking 15/day good price + fantastic gym! + best location in Trencin - low water pressure - kids in the wellness when it should be adult only overall a great hotel, based on 3 night review. good clean rooms, super friendly staff during checking and general when we had questions, we needed an iron for clothes and that was super quick, easy parking ( 15/day) wellness was ok, 2 nice saunas ( herbal and Finnish) then a steam room that has little steam, and then a 4th room that somehow didn't do much ( just 35 degree, the water didnt work) pool we didn't try, but you can order drinks at the pool and its fast and an ok price ( 3.5 euro for 0.5l Radler) massage was 36 for 50 minutes, and it was great. gym was great, ell equipped and free weights, all machines are dual use, so push machine is also a pull ( very clever choice and design, good use of space, 24/7, loved our daily workouts) breakfast was good, nice coffee, nice fried eggs one day, another day it was fried break that was not good. lots of choice in cold cuts, really nice pastry crumble. overall lovely hotel, I wont even go back to Slovakia, but if somehow I do, I would stay again. The interior was nice as well, great renovation, modern plus the classic look

The Magnus hotel is next to the hockey arena and offers great rooms. Price value ratio is very good. The breakfast is served at the Sushi restaurant. A cook prepares egg individually for every guest. They even serve sparkling wine at the breakfast buffet. My room was huge just like a suite and my travel companion had the same experience. Nice bathroom with a seperate toilette. Bath tub and a shower cabin was there. Free parking in front of the hotel makes travelling easy. Will definitely come back on my next Trencin trip.

The hotel is lovely. Front desk staff is lovely. We were a group of 5 friends and we enjoyed the stay immensely. The Breakfast in the morning was really good. Now the negative: Wellness: The receptionist at the wellness was lovely, very friendly. As someone else had already written the wellness is not large enough for the size of the place and having patrons from outside as well. A humble suggestion will be to have residents only in certain hours. Also the massages were not worth the price. Perhaps to have more ambiance at the massage rooms or more experienced staff. We would return but most probably book treatments somewhere else.
