This hotel is really nice. The building color is white, the sofa in the lobby is white, and the facilities in the room are fresh and simple. There is a garden lawn fountain in front of the hotel and a swimming pool in the back, very European style. Breakfast is a continental breakfast with a lot of portions. The front desk and restaurant staff are soft-spoken and attentive. And the house price is not expensive. The ”Here Comes Noodles” restaurant on the right side of the hotel serves delicious rice noodles. There is a seafood buffet restaurant a few minutes' walk to the left of the hotel, which costs 60 yuan per person and can be eaten all you want.

This is a very local Thai hotel where nearly all their guests are Thai. Don't expect to see many foreigners here. Also, the staff barely speak English or even Chinese. That being said, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the place was really clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I had slept in. It is hidden away and yet near enough to one of the main roads. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserStayed in room 208 for 4 nights. The check in process was straightforward with only admin being a signature and payment to be dealt with. I paid in cash, but you can also pay with a card for an extra 3%. Being a poshtel, the only shared parts were the common areas, kitchen and bathrooms. There were common areas by landing on each floor and these were really nice places just to chill out. I think there was also an attached restaurant or cafe but I never saw anyone in there and I never went in either. My room had a bed, a chair, AC and a fan. The mattress was very firm even by Asian standards. It was definitely firmer than I'm accustomed to and some people will find it rock hard. There is a small table, but it's more like a ledge so it's difficult to work on unless you have e.g. a small laptop. There’s an electrical point by the table, but the bed is located so far that the hostel has provided an extension cord. There's also a bin and laundry basket in your room. Staff will clean and tidy up your room every morning as well as providing a bottle of water every day of your stay. Otherwise, the room is quite small and you wouldn't want to spend your free time in there. My room was on the 2nd floor. There were three toilets and three showers. There was no trouble getting warm or hot water from the showers. The one shared kitchen was also on the second floor. This had a large table with eight chairs, a microwave, plates, utensils and free water. All of the common areas were cleaned regularly. Although the bathroom was generally very clean, some of the silicone had mould. Nothing scary though. There were two super fast computers near the kitchen. I'm sure these would’ve been useful 10 years ago when smartphones weren’t as ubiquitous. Location wise the hotel is about 10 minutes from the centre of town but everything else is close by including bars, restaurants, cafes and massage places. The night market and clock tower are about a 5 minute walk. Overall I had a fantastic stay, the front office and staff are friendly, and do a great job. The reception area has brochures for tourists and the front office can also arrange these for guests. The rooms do have a quirky design but nothing that would make you want to leave. The location is excellent with everything you need close by. I would happily stay here again or recommend it to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.

GGuest UserA quaint hotel with a nice quiet area surrounding us. We got one of the renovated rooms which felt comfy and very inviting. The bathroom was our favorite part, as it was spacy and it seemed like they really thought about the design to appeal to their guests. The bedroom also had an outdoor patio which was nice. The breakfast was also quite good. It was also easy to walk to other locations for shops or eating. The only downsides we had that since we were close to the pool, we could hear children playing at 6:30 hrs, which I think is too early for the pool to open. Also, the staff did not give us Wi-Fi passwords, but it was OK because we weren't in the room too often. But overall, an amazing place to stay!

IInspire28916027656This was in a good location, close to the market and bus station. The place was very clean. Each person was provided a bottle of water in the fridge. There was a freezer as well which was great. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. They even had free bikes you could rent. They also had a self serve washer which was 40THB and dryer which was 60THB. There was a small pool in the lobby that was only open from 8a-8p. The only negative was that it required a 500THB deposit in cash which could be a problem if it's your last day in Thailand. For those familiar with hotels in the US, it's comparable to one of the nicer Comfort Inns.

WWang Jian HuanWe were happy staying at The Loft. The Reception was helpful to arrange an elephant trip for us at a good rate, 1,500 bath for half day, 2 persons with dedicated car. Also my son enjoyed playing at their mini pond with clayfish looking like small lobsters. The Reception, a nice chap called Teoy voluntarily took out first aid saline water and applied antiseptic lotion for my son who had a minor bite by a dog.
My son was bitten unprovoked while cycling in the vicinity residential area. Be careful while cycling with young children along residential estate. Keep a close lookout. To us, it is still good cycling around but just keep a close watchout if you have young children tagging along. Enjoy your trip!

YYogurttFirstly, i got the room that was at the end of the corridor and opposite to the storage room. It was dark and messy with the 2 ladders in front. After stepped into the room, we got the bad smell inside which came from the bathroom. The staff came with air freshener and asked us to wait for 15 mins. If the smell was still, she offered to change the room. Anyway, I denied and asked to change if possible. Finally, we got upgraded to bigger one that we didn’t expect. Hotel is nice, well decoration. Location is convenient but need to improve the cleanliness.

The guesthouse is a little way out of the centre of Chiang Rai, but they are also aware of this and offer lots of information and help for booking taxis/tuktuks or bike hire. Great place, if you do hire a bike, as this place is much better value than the places in the centre. It is also only a half hour walk from the Blue Temple, which we found helpful. The room is bright, spacious and very clean. The Reception area is a comfortable place to sit. There is a water boiler and microwave available 7am-10pm along with free teas and coffees. They also have a selection of frozen/microwave meals, snacks and drinks for sale. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They send postcards home for us, and helped us book our slow boat up to Luang Prabang. Cannot recommend enough, if you don't mind being a little outside town.

AAngel13My partner and I had an amazing stay at Phowadol resort and Spa. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We arrived 5 hours before check in, hoping to just drop our bags off, but they got a room sorted for us within the hour. The pool was well maintained and the gym had all the equipment you’d need with air conditioning. The pictures don’t do the rooms justice, we were in a tree house with a wrap around balcony. Not an issue for us, as we rented moped’s from the resort, but it’s a 10 minute drive to the town centre.
