We immensely enjoyed our time at 500 Rai. It’s a very unique place, especially if you like being in the water a lot. The views from the resort are extraordinary. We stayed in the deluxe suite and had the best time. Our activity guide was Phoo and we did a great waterfall hike and several boat rides. Thicha and Got were very attentive and kind during meal times, and it was a nice variety of food. The staff generally were very attentive and helpful. We had a great stay; recommended for anyone looking to really disconnect for a couple of days.

I stayed at the Panvaree The Greenery during my study abroad trip and it was amazing! My 23 classmates and I took a boat ride to the hotel, where we were greeted with refreshing drinks. The lower level rooms have steps that lead right into the blue water. My group and I spent the day swimming in the water, floating on the water pads, and kayaking. I will say the water is very very warm. Later we look the most beautiful boat ride all around the area before stopping at another location for a sunset swim. In the morning we had a great breakfast and took another boat ride where we saw lots of monkeys! It was very cute! Just a warning the boats did break down on two separate occasions and we were stranded for a while till another boat came to pull us back. The wifi also did not work for us in the rooms, but it was honestly nice to unplug and enjoy nature. Also since you are staying at a floating resort you will feel the room rocking back and forth, just an fyi if you are sensitive to that. Overall this place is amazing and I highly recommend!!!
