Basic hotel in the Centre, great location. Clean and comfortable bed. Some rooms have no windows, check before you book, we paid 100 Baht extra for a room with natural light. Good bars, two pubs, Indian Restaurant and nightlife on the doorstep. Great for a short stay at a fair price.

Back from Vientiane Waiting to board the plane back to the city the next day So I find accommodation near the airport, it's here. With the same, you can take it to reduce the flight ticket again, the room is clean, the air conditioner is cool, the night is very quiet. I can't hear the sound of cars passing by even on the main road. The hotel looks ancient but not old and clean. The caretaker aunt looks strict. Not smiling and welcoming But provide good service as appropriate late Another day, check-out, 20 minutes walk to the airport, leisurely

Amazing service. The manager is such a nice man. He always greets guests and asks how their stay is and if there is anything he or his staff can do to be helpful. All of the staff are super friendly, helpful and kind. The rooms are always very clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast buffet is good. Location is excellent. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. I will always stay here each time I return to Udon Thani. Thank you to the manager and all of the hotel staff for always making me feel welcomed and happy during my stays here.

This is a great value hotel in the heart of Udon Thani. Plenty of beer bars nearby and a great selection of restaurants. Pity about the ugly expats that inhabit this city. The bed was comfy, the room was huge, and the staff were super nice even without being able to speak english

I'm nominating this resort as THE quietest I've ever stayed in ... and considering its proximity to the city, this makes it all the more remarkable ... No dogs barking, no traffic, only the sound of the birds and the crickets! It has a small but pleasant pool too. And the staff are SO accommodating. Totally recommended!

Close to the bus station and city center. If you’re looking for a nice and cozy place to stay before catching a bus to Vientiane or just exploring the city, this place is highly recommended. Central Plaza Shopping mall is just right in front. The hostel itself also has a cafe downstairs where you can enjoy many delicious coffee menus , being customized just how you’d like! Love love love the hostel decoration as you can see from the photos. The dorm is now close because of covid but they also have private rooms available. They also have outdoors area with plants where you can enjoy chatting or sipping coffee in the mini garden 😃😃

GGuest UserWe loved every moment of our stay at Changthai Comfort Guest House. I can’t recommend it enough. From a delicious breakfast and dinner overlooking the lake, to drinking Chang by the pool in the afternoon sun, my brothers and I were very well taken care of and the staff were so lovely. Escaping the city, you can really relax here, and town is just a taxi away.
The rooms are clean, large and overlook beautiful gardens and pool. We have family in Udon Thani so we will be back!! Thankyou for having us!!!!

JJMK_The_WandererThis was my second stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are basic, no frills, but a very good value. Included are wardrobe (with safe box), desk, large bed (average comfort), fridge, modern TV, small but functional bathroom, and a balcony with sink. There is no kettle in the standard room, but in the lobby they have a kettle and sell nescafe, quick noodles, water, beer, etc. Wifi was average, cut out a few times. Daytime staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful! Location is outstanding, a short walk to Central Plaza and two night markets, and many food, bar, and massage options are steps away. There are washing machines in the car park area, which came in handy. It is true, as some have pointed out, that the loudspeakers (9AM-9PM) from Central Plaza are annoying, but with the door shut and AC on, it's a minor issue. I plan to return here for my next visit.

YYxLeeLocation was well-centralised. Parking is free & ample. Stingy on giving bottled water. No kettle to boil water even. They don’t come clean your room automatically. You got to put the sign to indicate. Other hotels, it’s the other way round. Room is aesthetically-pleasing. But I wouldn’t come again.

เเมียพาไปไหนก็ไปThe accommodation is spacious, clean, bright, near the park, easy to walk to exercise, but the bed is very very hard, wake up with back pain 🥲🥲😭 There are 2 more pillows, bicycles to borrow, kitchen available, parking for about 10-12 cars. The room is not soundproof to the point that the maid mopping the room next door can hear the sound of the mop, everyone can hear everything. It's like suddenly becoming the auntie next door who knows everything. If you wake up late, hang no disturb because the maid knocks on the door since 8.30, your head will hurt. Other than that, I like everything. PS. The orange juice in the picture, I recommend you to drink it. The shop is next to a big park. Super fresh, super good, super delicious, super refreshing, almost a liter bottle is only 150 baht. Freshly squeezed every fruit, every bottle.

OOn The Road AgainThis hotel was good enough that I stayed in for two additional night mainly for its location, comfortable bed and decent internet. Be aware that my bathroom was very small and the shower door was broke. The hotel needs some renovation for sure. Long 14 meter pool was nice.

DdadebaFour of us shared a family room just for one night and we were really impressed. The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but once you step inside it’s a different scene. Our room was really large with a magnificent king bed and two king singles. The bed was among the most comfortable I have enjoyed over the years. There was a large lounge to relax on as well as a big flat screen tv. Also tea and coffee facilities. We ordered room service for dinner and it was good quality food at a reasonable price. The bathroom was large, with two showers and two basins as well as one toilet. Well you wouldn’t want to go to the toilet as a couple would you? Our booking included free breakfast (no doubt added into the room price) but it was very good. A nice variety of dishes, Thai of course plus some western items. It is served near the outdoor pool in a nice relaxing environment. We also had a free shuttle to pick us up from the airport, about 10 minutes away, and we had no trouble finding our driver, who was extremely courteous and delivered all of our luggage direct to our room. The desk staff were also very friendly and obliging. Overall I was very pleased with our stay and honestly I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. I will certainly stay here again.

SskrsmdThe area is nice, very quiet. Near to the market and Mini Big C, but not so near to the main attraction (Nong Prajak Park, Udon Thani Museum) if you want to walk - just take a grab.
The room is spacious, the bathroom is nice, there's refrigerator as well. Recommended!

KkhunsenalHave booked a room for 3 nights there. Me and my girfriend arrived at the hotel in the evening with heavy legs after long journey, then we walked in for check-in. The receptionist wasn't really pay attention at all. No eye contact when speaking to us. She told us that all rooms are fully booked and did not let us stay during that evening. How come?? The woman asked us to stay at the other hotel (UD residence sister hotel) and did not confirmed whether the room will be free the day after or not. We went to the other hotel as she asked us to do so. Moreover, the quality of the room was bad compared to what we've booked. Then the night was gone. We came back to UD Capital in the morning. Different receptionist this time. We asked about the room again. and what surprised me the most was that ”the room was free yesterday and how come they put you in different hotel?” she said. And I was thinkig to myself yeahhhh We are the one who should ask you this question. Finally, we gotten to stay at UD Capital for the rest of 2 nights left. I do understand that not everyone is going to be in the same situation as mine but I write this review just to help member of staffs in the evening time that service complaints is normal and and each one should be taken seriously for the sake of guests as front-desk is the face of the hotel. So my all in all experience with the hotel is bad. Not gonna go there again. However, the location was okay.

UultimatemvgStayed here for 5 nights in February whilst visiting Udon Thani. The hotel and rooms are in good condition and the staff reception is friendly and helpful. Location wise it's only a short walk down the road to the shopping plaza area and also one more street along are lots of bars and restaurants. The area is safe fine to walk around at night. There is a large 7Eleven shop if you turn left and walk 100 yards down the road. Would stay here again.

CCharlie51MHotel located in a small lane quiet residential area close to all tourist attractions & many small eateries, big C mini mart within walking distance. Only took 20min by grab from airport caused 170baht as airport limousine service will easily cause 300baht. Hotel room big nicely furnished & decorated. Was surprised at such value pricing ironing board & safe box also provided. Only short coming is the safe box in my room was broken. There is also a open air balcony with small glass round table for smokers. Will definitely choose this hotel if I'm visiting Udon Thanni again.
