The hotel is a very well-coming motel. The equipment is obsolete and partly damaged or desperately repaired. The refrigerator browss and the air conditioning makes autonomous pauses. The bed and towels were fresh and we were asleep well and without problems.
The name “Best Value Inn” is misleading because there is only very low value
Tip: There is a very good and cheap breakfast with fresh bagels in New York Style at Noah's Bagel Bakery directly opposite !!

This hotel was super clean and the staff is really friendly, which are always two big pluses in my book. I don't usually eat at the hotels I stay at, as I prefer to try the local restaurants in the area, but we were in a rush and decided to try their restaurant for a quick bite and to our surprise they had some incredible food. We ate there again for breakfast the next day it was so good! The breakfast and dinner we had were both 10/10. Definitely would stay here again if in the area

First i must say i had to pick my jaw up from being in awe for too long! Mz. Lauri the assist manager is the creater next to the word efficient and has a picture of her when u look up customer service. I arrived late she had everything ready to go the room location,view,and extras were all met. When i did an extended stay she read my mind and gave me a reservation. Traveling with my family is already a blessing and a chore but this quality inn made it more of a blessing. I am a very busy person but i felt compelled to leave this review for this wonderful establishment and thier team. The room was very clean including the bathroom is spacious and they provide adaquate work station support. Come on by if your in the area, please try this customer service it will leave u feeling refreshed and happy. Thank you

Stayed here for 1 night with my wife and child. Main reason why we stayed here was due to the proximity to the premium outlets which we wanted to get to early in the morning of Black Friday! Check in was smooth, room was average. Parking is free. Overall the stay was comfortable especially for the price. Breakfast wasn't much (some muffins and cereals, pre packed) Check out was easy and off we went for black friday shopping! Hotel Room: 4 Stars (Average room size and had a bathtub) Room View: 3 Stars (You can see your car at the carpark) Service of Staff: 4 Stars (Generally helpful and easy going. The tub had some issues and they came by to resolve it quickly) Lounges/Restaurants: 3 Stars (Breakfast was not that great) Room Service: NA Location: 4 Stars (Near the Premium Outlets)

The hotel is in a good environment. It is a steakhouse. When you go out, you can smell the smell of cigarettes. Of course, this restaurant is very delicious. Going out to the left and passing through the trash can can be copied. Quiet, tree-lined, with plenty of parking. It is very close to the Outlets and can be reached by car. Around the restaurant, 7-11 are more convenient. The room is generally relatively clean, and there is a stove, if you have the ingredients to prepare the pot, you can cook. Breakfast is fine, it is not called breakfast, almost equal to no. The front desk was very warm and very polite. Overall, let's make it.

Front desk staff was helpful, and we appreciated that they had extra towels and toilet paper behind the front desk so that we wouldn’t have to wait for someone to deliver this to our room. Beds in our 7th floor room was surprisingly firm. Most hotels have worn soft beds. Bathroom is well designed considering it’s a small space. Bright lights and white walls with a modern shower reminds me of a deluxe cruise ship bathroom. Mini microwave in the room is a nice plus because the Trader Jo’s is right across the street. Free parking is a definite plus. And lobby area feels like a mini living room. At night, you need your hotel key to walk through the front entrance sliding doors as well as tap key to access elevator — great double security feature which I appreciated! And housekeeping staff were genuinely helpful and friendly.

GGuest UserWe made reservations here for one night specifically because we needed a very early ride to the airport, and the hotel had assured us that they provided this. We checked in at 9 pm, only to be told that the hotel didn't have a driver and we would have to figure out our 4 am ride on our own. We were stunned by this lack of courtesy, and thankfully we found a hotel down the road that provided the service we needed.

GGuest UserThe property i manage had damage as a result of the Atmospheric river on last Tuesday and a water pipe was broken by a fallen tree. Despite my best efforts the damage had still not been fixed on Sunday and a tenant asked if they could be put up at a hotel. I gave them two choices one of which was Holiday Inn. The tenant called the one on University Avenue in Berkeley and was told that there was a three day stay minimum. They were also quoted a rate 0f $209 a night. When I called I was told $169 a night and $159 a night with AAA discount and no minimums. I gave the girl my credit card and she swiped it and it was approved. All she told me to do was to give the tenants my AAA card number so I could get the discount when they checked in. My tenants went to the hotel and were told that there was no reservation either under their name or mine. I gave them the confirmation number given me by the girl who answered the phone. They found the reservation. Then they were told that they would have to give them their credit card so they could run it and pay for the reservation in advance of checking out ”just in case.” They were told if they wanted to use my credit card I would have to come down there that night, not the next morning, and have him swipe my card and if I did not come, he was going to kick the tenants out. Thus, I had to get out of bed at 10:30 at night and go to Berkeley. When I get there he tells me that he is going to charge my card that night for the two night stay. I told him I had already been charged and he said that he had canceled the charge because I did not accompany the tenants at checkin. Neither of us were told that I had to accompany them and being a business traveler I know that not to be true. When he gave me the receipt, he had changed the terms because I got new terms when he canceled the previous reservation and they had had an increase in demand. (The parking lot was only half full). When I asked for a copy of the receipt, which I was entitled too since he was charging me to check out before I even checked in, he refused to give it to me, telling me to ”take a picture.” I will never use this hotel again.

The stuff from the moment I walked in the door was the most excellent customer service I have experienced in many years of traveling. The rooms were clean and breakfast was wonderful. The pool was clean and easy to access. Parking was plentiful. Excellent experience.

I typically check in at night and there is always a nice staff member regardless the day that I check in. The food is good as well as I have tried several items.

ZZHUOBooked in a two-bedroom apartment suite, there are two rooms, each with a double bed and bathroom, a kitchen and living room in the middle, a microwave oven with a microwave oven, and a cup, plate and dishware. Very suitable for family living. There is a big bird on the tree outside the small balcony. There are many yachts in the small bay. Walking along the front road to the right, there is a German restaurant, German sausage and beer taste really good. The hotel's free breakfast is OK. Three kinds of sausages are eaten a day. One day there are bacon patties sausages, milk cereals, homemade waffles, and several kinds of bread jams. Originally, I wanted to live in San Francisco, but I said that the roads in the city are relatively ups and downs, the one-way line is complicated, and the parking cost is high. So I live in Auckland. It is convenient to drive the Auckland Bridge to San Francisco for two consecutive days. I found a Guilin rice noodle shop nearby in the evening, and it tastes so good! ! !

AAnonjaymousThe pros: Inexpensive Decent location Room has decent amenities The cons: Nonchalant service Smells like **** Limited breakfast options Lots of yelling Near the train No HVAC As mentioned above, this inn is a great location, with a great price, and you can tell they're trying. They had a fridge, a microwave, and a decently-sized TV in the room. More than I expected for $80~ish a night. The receptionists were what'd you expect at this price point, and the staff were mostly positive. Their breakfast options were also fairly limited, but if you were really hungry, it would do the job. While the HVAC system was broken, they did offer an extra portable heater that did the job. Unfortunately some things that they can't control really make the inn far worse than it tries to be. The behavior of their guests, their proximity to the train tracks, and the people yelling outside the hotel really affect the way guests experience the inn. Other guests were smoking **** that could be smelled all the way down the hall and in other rooms, and they were piling up so much trash they just started to leave it by their doors in the hallway. This is in addition to the fact that they were yelling and screaming, and the doors did little to muffle the sound. The yelling continued through midnight and kept waking me up throughout the night. This yelling came both from guests in the hallway and from people walking on the streets. I could also see how the room had been worn down by prior guests, with dents in the lampshade, stains on the carpet, and even though I could tell the cleaning staff put effort in the bathroom (towel folded into swan, etc), the light was malfunctioning. Thankfully, it didn't bother me much, but for those who aren't used to ”roughing it,” this might not be the place for you.
