Room was large, clean, and had a large balcony. Intense air freshener was in use throughout the hotel, including in my room. Pillows are small and square. Bed is quite firm. Walls are thin --- I could hear my neighbors as though they were in the room with me. No water in room, even for purchase. I saw some guests getting bottled water at check-in but I wasn't offered any. Check-in process is antiquated, which is not a big deal, but it's strange to see somebody pull a piece of paper out of a file folder and ask you to initial in four places and sign at the bottom. Room keys have to be inserted instead of tapped. Also not a big deal, but just a sign of the age of the property. I made this trip last-minute and could literally find no other room in downtown Denver for under $1200/night. So, this will get the job done for one night. It's fine. I wouldn't return if I had another option.

The room was not as big as the one imagined, but the room was clean and there were some. The location of the hotel is the most satisfying, not far from where it is, and it is not expensive to take a taxi in Denver. Very close to the 16th Street, I personally feel that shopping there is more convenient than in Cherry Creek. Compared with other hotels in the same price, I feel very good and cost-effective.

The hotel is not bad for the money. location is normal. I booked a room with a king size bed and a bathtub, but got two regular beds and a small shower.

Really nice hotel with great staff. As a Hyatt Globalist we were upgraded to a Premier King Room and it was just perfect- more like a mini-suite. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and although they don't have an extensive menu, it was very good. The breakfast buffet was excellent and at last we could have scrambled eggs that weren't all dried out. They also had an egg ”dish of the day” on the buffet which was excellent as well as bacon, very tasty sausage, pancakes, potatoes, and a couple of other things. They also had a small a la carte breakfast menu. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trips to Denver.

The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The on-site restaurant was very good we had the bacon pizza because with was recommended by the bartender and it did not disappoint.

I always enjoy staying at the Tech Center Marriott as it offers the right combination of quiet, amenities, and service needed for a business trip. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a vacation as it is not centrally located to much. The hotel itself has an expansive lobby with a good and unique coffee shop. Good lounge for Elite members with good food, drinks, and treats although it is not open 24 hours for drinks like water. Rooms are nicely apportioned. Good bed with decent mattress. My room on this trip didn't quite have the right temperature shower as it was either freezing cold or burning hot. The inside shower also had a towel that appeared dirty or stained. TV is somewhat smaller than more updated rooms in other hotels. Quiet room and floor.

The location is excellent, it is very convenient in the city centre, shopping and eating around. Hotel facilities are new, very clean and upscale, the service is friendly, the phone is hot and so on.

I expected a lot better. The location is great for the city sights. Close to all the key areas (and it’s a good walking city). But the number of homeless people around is quite shocking and can make you feel very uncomfortable. It’s only 20 mins walk from Union St but you’ll need a taxi if you have luggage. Lyft and Uber are your friends but pricing is very variable. The reception of the hotel is non-descript and service slow if there’s a conference in the hotel. The rooms are dark. Too dark. They are also small. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Bathrooms need refurbished - they are looking tired. (We stayed twice in the space of a week). Towels were thick and soft; toiletries good quality. The only restaurant is a sports bar in the basement. This is particularly disappointing for a hotel of this quality. Space, service and quality can therefore be problematic. We left one morning when service was particularly bad. There is no Exec Lounge. A major drawback and a dumbing down of the chain. Instead of lounge access we were given $15 per night to spend. This could not buy you breakfast….probably just one drink in the bar. The US chain could learn from Hilton elsewhere in the world. On second visit we arrived at 1720 and our room still wasn’t ready. However the front desk subsequently let us have a late checkout for our own departure. That all said, you’ll be able to do better at this price.

My wife and I have come here 9 years in a row for a Christmas Eve Eve staycation. The Oxford never disappoints from its historic atmosphere to its pampered customer service and attention to detail. We just confirmed our annual tradition with Rebecca and she lived up to the Oxford’s reputation. Thanks again Rebecca for going above and beyond. We just had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Halcyon In the beautiful cherry-creek neighborhood in Denver and can’t wait to go back. Comfortable modern rooms, spectacular rooftop pool/bar, delicious restaurants, wonderful bars, excellent service/staff; we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Upon arrival you’ll notice the beautiful modern finishes and approachable feel as you are greeted with staff that truly make you feel like you’re a guest in their home. After a long flight, there’s really nothing better than being offered champagne or a glass of wine upon your arrival. They also had espresso available at the front desk which we took advantage of throughout our stay. I have never been to a hotel that cares about their guest in such a thoughtful way. They even offer to pay for your yoga, soul cycle, or other wellness classes at local studios nearby, which is such a nice touch and amazing cost savings. The interior finishes are chic, modern, and welcoming, they have a record player in the room which was such a nice tough and was relaxing and fun to play while lounging around! Even the shampoos, lotions, body wash, and bathroom amenities were something special and smelt so amazing! The roof top pool and bar is top notch, and a rare find in Denver, they definitely have the best views, and gorgeous heated pool and spa that is enjoyable even when it’s 2 degrees outside. The rooftop also provides outdoor activities including private cabanas and a curling court which is a very fun and unique experience. Speaking of unique experiences, if you’re looking for the best cocktail, make sure to ask one of the hotel staff and an exclusive secret experience awaits.. but I can’t tell you more because it’s a secret underground spot ;). This hotel has thought of everything and more, so look no further than the Halcyon when deciding where to stay in Denver, you will be so happy you did.
