The room was clean and spacious, the western breakfast was ok, the parking was convenient, and it was a few minutes drive to the seaside down town. There are 3 knives for washing and drying, no laundry detergent is provided for free, and coins are swallowed.

The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression. I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

Close to the airport, the surrounding environment is generally the same, but there is a supermarket across the road, and there is a Chinese restaurant at the door is quite convenient. Don't worry about the safety issue, there is a police station within 500 meters of the hotel. The nearby gas station is expensive, and if you rent a car, the gas station near the airport will be cheaper. There should be some hotels, but the sheets and pillowcases are not so clean.

The first day was credited to my credit card even before I arrived. My credit card statement showed the entire amount was charged at the start of the visit, not at checkout (as usual), At check-in, the manager had me sign a slip for a $50 deposit on my credit card. Outside of this it's in a fairly good location with a variety of restaurants nearby.

The second time I came to this hotel, it was close to the airport, affordable, quiet and good service. The weather is more suitable, the pool is large, and it is more comfortable to swim a few laps inside.
