A very beautiful big house, it feels more like an airbnb homestay, not like a hotel, but it feels very special. The house is located in the wealthy area on the mountain. It is very luxurious. It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. He knew that we were Chinese and would help us cook dumplings, watch TV on the cctv channel, recommend tourist routes, etc. He was very very enthusiastic and made us all embarrassed, toilet The two rooms are shared, but there is no one next door on the day we stayed, so it is equivalent to a private toilet. It's really great 👍

A naval ship type experience. Smallest hotel room I’ve been in since NYC. Reinforced staying on the right side of the law lest you end up in a place this small. The shower glass was a part of the actual room. We love historic hotels but I’ll pass on this one. The great downtown location you’d expect for a historic hotel, but not even a dresser in the room itself. No room! Nowhere to even put one piece of luggage in the closet! Only plastic cups in the room, no room to put a toothbrush on the bath vanity, no floor length mirror (we were attending an event), and the room lighting was poor. We are only here for two days, and we were claustrophobic the first hour. Even the hallway felt like being on a ship. Truly considered upgrading or changing hotels. Nice ambiance and charm downstairs. Parking situation was decent but expensive (as expected), $29 for self park. I think it might be a nice place for an event, but truly go get a hotel room built for modern size humans. Hotel staff gave little help with taxi service which I found baffling.

The HP in Pasadena is beautiful ... more like a Regency, with a spacious, well-appointed lobby and spacious breakfast area. The room was clean & spacious, with a different layout than other HP's ... the bathroom was NOT situated at the foot of the beds where light/noise would bother those sleeping. Location of the hotel was great for our sporting event at the convention center and walkable to Colorado Blvd. shops. Will definitely stay here again!

Coming from a hotel ”snob”,saying that this Westin is one of the finest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in means a great deal. Kudos to the professional and friendly staff - especially Adrionna, Autumn, Erwin, Guille and Marcos. Location perfect and interior and exterior first class.

Our family had a leak in our home and were displaced for about a month. After staying in 4 other hotels prior to the Residence Inn, we decided to choose the Residence Inn Los Angeles Pasadena / Old Town for the remainder of our displacement. Overall our stay was great! The staff, especially the morning front desk team, was very friendly to us, and our family was able to become very familiar with them. Our daughter even made some of them friendship bracelets! The rooms were spacious, and for the most part, quiet, and we took advantage of some of the amenities like the gym and free complimentary breakfast. The only thing I would suggest improving upon would be the communication between the sales team and front desk, and front desk and housekeeping. There seemed to be some communication breakdowns between the departments. I'd also suggest that the sales team be more responsive to the guests when asked questions. I sent two emails and never received a response, and instead, had to also follow up with phone calls. That isn't the best business practice in a hospitality setting. Other than those small issues, the hotel was clean, modern, and quiet. It was a great place for an extended stay with children. The location is perfect as its a VERY short walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping in Old Town Pasadena. Also, it's only a short drive to the Rose Bowl. God forbid we are in that position again, but if we are, we will certainly stay at the Residence Inn Los Angeles Pasadena / Old Town! The location is very convenient for Pasadena and surrounds. It's just a short walk to shops and restaurants and felt safe at night. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. Downsides: They were heavy-handed in using an industrial strength room deodorizer in lieu of giving it a deep clean. The smell barely faded after leaving the window open 24/7. We found kibble on the floor because they hadn't vacuumed properly. (Maybe the previous pet-owner occupant was the reason for the deodorizer?) The fridge wasn't working and they did try to fix it. But in the end it never worked so we had to through out all of our perishables. The room never felt that clean or well cared for. No, I would not recommend staying here.

We are utterly smitten with Hotel Dena - it has exceeded all our expectations for an artistic, pristine, and laid-back boutique hotel. The hotel was freshly renovated just last year, so every single amenity and piece of equipment is impressively modern. We were arranged in a first-floor ”small loft” room complete with a private balcony - undoubtedly one of the highlights of our entire trip. The hotel's decor is nothing short of captivating, with a cinematic ambiance evident throughout the common areas. From the impeccably styled furniture to the mesmerizing artwork and paintings, every design element contributes to an utterly enchanting atmosphere. In fact, I would unhesitatingly award Dena a rating of 6 out of 5 stars to fully convey my deep adoration for this establishment. If we're ever blessed with the opportunity to visit Los Angeles again, Dena will unquestionably be our top choice. 🌹🌹🌹

The furnishings in the room are old but still very clean. The quilt core is very thin, almost non-existent, and it feels like it has been used for a long time and has not been changed. When checking in, the front desk tricked us into upgrading the room type, adding dozens of dollars and saying that it would provide a room with a good view. As a result, we were assigned to the most remote room, a building where no one lives at all, surrounded by decorated railings and we could not see anything. Later, we went back and asked them to change back to the original room. They made up all kinds of excuses saying that the view of the room we originally booked was very bad and we could only see the roof. They asked us to pay more than ten dollars to change the room. After changing the room, we could only see the roof and a little bit of the garden. . . The car was parked in Valet parking for one night, and the tire was flat on the second night. Nothing to say... The garden is still beautiful, but it was a really disgusting check-in experience

The people at the hotel are very sweet and accommodating but they need to do better when cleaning hotel rooms…the sink smelled like sewer water. I thought it’s just one night but every time we turned it on it was a strong odor. I felt gross even washing my hands, let alone brushing my teeth. The drain should be cleaned at hotels. The vents were full of dirt. I had my baby and it just disappointed me more than anything..it felt dirty. It was too late to switch or do anything. Please do better for the health of others.

The room was very noisy near the road and the room smelled of alcohol disinfection. The surrounding neighbourhood is still relatively safe. There is a Thai restaurant at the door. The taste is good. The diagonally opposite supermarket is more expensive and the hotel's breakfast is still delicious.
