We visited this resort for the day to see if this would suit us for our next holiday. The resort is in a perfect location about 20 mins bus ride from Port Vila. It is located on a beautiful beach with great snorkeling right off the beach. It is in a quieter rural location that would suit visitors looking for a beach getaway. We got to view one of the fares and it was a quaint island style room with ceiling fans and the one we viewed also had air conditioning. It would be perfect for us and I loved the charm of it. The restaurant was an open style area that had a lovely breeze going through even though it was a very hot sunny day, We ordered the fish burger for lunch and it was honestly the BEST fish burger I’ve ever had! It was absolutely delicious and compliments to their amazing chef! Rob the manager was very friendly and a pleasure to meet, we enjoyed his company when he had the chance to sit down and mingle with the guests. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our day relaxing, swimming and snorkeling at the resort and I can’t wait for our next Vanuatu holiday at this resort!

TL;DR No restaurant, private beach or snorkeling at resort Cannot swim in lagoon Simple breakfast over lagoon Great staff, quite helpful Close bus stops - easy to get to town Good price for room, lovely location Room serviced about every 3 days I enjoyed our stay however... Online information needs updating as it is very misleading. NO RESTAURANT ANYMORE. Unfortunately we only learnt about this on arrival at the resort which was very disappointing. They still provide a simple breakfast as stated (usually tea and coffee, toast, bananas, papaya and sometimes pancakes or on occasion eggs). For dinner go to town or neighbouring resorts were great (Tropicana and MG Cocomo). There is no private beach as stated in the features section and no snorkeling. There is the lagoon - lovely to kayak on but not safe for swimming due to pollution. Staff are absolutely lovely and I enjoyed our stay here. Staff picked us up from airport and helped us book some day tours and activities. A reasonable price for room. Lovely gardens. We stayed in a garden room which is private and secluded from other rooms. A few cockroaches came into the room at night through tiny holes in ceiling. Pool is small and surrounding deck chairs broken, but still a nice spot. Would be ideal to have an A4 paper sheet in room with some key notes like time of breakfast, how to do laundry, lagoon not safe for swimming, etc. Otherwise just have to keep asking staff. Wifi only works close to reception.
I stayed at Tropicana for 2 weeks with a friend and my two children ( 2 year old and a 7 month old). SERVICE - The staff are absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable right from the get go. I made a mistake and booked the wrong room (the smaller one) and they managed to get another bed into our room. The staff took our luggage and children up the stairs for us. They also would bring dinner to our room if our children were sleeping or didn't want to come down. I had great conversations with some of the staff and really got to know them. When our bus broke down, the manager called one of their own drivers for us. They were all so happy and friendly! Not a single complaint with the service. CLEANLINESS - Our room was very tidy and was serviced every day. The hardwood floor and balcony was swept, towels replaced, rubbish taken out, dishes done and beds made every single day. The house keeper offered to do our laundry and we received it back the next day as well. We had no issues with mosquitos, there were a few lizards on the roof outside but that was a non-issue. The grounds were clean, everyday we saw men working to keep the place tidy and presentable. SPACE - We had a beach front apartment (Room 11) which was located upstairs. The room had enough room for us to walk around while the toddler was playing. It also had a baby cot, double bed and single bed as well so I feel the room was very spacious. There was a large wardrobe with coat hangers and shelving we we could fit all of our suitcases and bags. There was a small table with 2 chairs and a couch that seated 3 people. The balcony was large with another table and 2 chairs. There was an air conditioning unit that was quite powerful and cooled our room right down in minutes as well as a ceiling fan. There was a flat screen tv. In the kitchen we had a microwave, toaster, kettle, gas stove with 2 elements, small fridge and plenty of cupboard and bench space. SECURITY - We felt very safe at Tropicana. There is a safe in the wardrobe where we kept our passports. They also have a security guard stay onsite overnight. BEDDING - Very comfortable, my children slept all night which never usually happens. Me and my friend had comfortable sleeps every night. NOISE - Some nights we could hear dogs barking from across the lagoon but it was faint enough to not disturb us. No traffic noise as Tropicana is situated down a long driveway away from the road. LOCATION - About a 10 minute drive from Port Vila township, 15 minutes from the airport. Just down the road from the supermarket and ATM. PRICE - Definitely worth the price. Affordable. FOOD - The chefs make amazing meals. Best beef burger I have ever had. So full of flavour and very big servings. GENERAL - Tropicana has a small pool which starts shallow and then gets very deep at one end. There were 2 kayaks and a stand-up paddle board for guests to use. There is a man-made beach which was a nice place to rela

Staff are really friendly but you need to be aware No WiFi in Rooms /Restaurant is closed so other than ”no choice breakfast” no food or snacks are available. Breakfast 2 toast 1 Butter 1 egg half a bacon rasher I tea bag and 1 Nescafe sachet in room Kettle but no fridge or Microwave so no milk or sugar. No Toiletries Room only cleaned on demand Photos are misleading
I'd give it 3.5/5 but the rating system does not allow it, and am being generous. The hotel seems to have been around for some time already and it is slowly delapidating. It is not in a bad shape, but parts of it could benefit from a facelift. Rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom style is oldish but it is perfectly usable. They do housekeeping only if requested, which is a smart move. Who really needs daily cleaning in their room? Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a quite good restaurant attached to the hotel, and it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complimentary continental breakfast is included in the room price, and you can exchange money to items on the menu. Continental breakfast has the usual bread, butter and marmalades with fresh baguette and coffee/tea. They have also (watered down) soup to go with bread.

We stayed for 12 nights for a special family celebration. 7 adults and 1 child. We had an amazing stay. It is in quite a remote location but is right on the beach which was pretty special. It is windy all the time but I think that helps to keep the temperature down - we were not uncomfortably hot at any time. I recommend getting a pool villa - they are so good! Restaurant is excellent - quite a substantial menu and also a blackboard menu but nothing changed much on that in 12 days. Chefs are very flexible with leaving items out or adding items in to dishes. Fire show on the beach was very enjoyable. We all had at least one spa visit each and everyone was happy with their treatment. We did every day trip on offer and enjoyed them all. We ventured out quite a few times, for sightseeing and for a few meals. We went in a Tamanu van each time, with one of their drivers, highly recommend this. Cannot remember the price but it was worth it. The road in is pretty rough but I think it was due to be graded the week we left. Staff are all lovely and super friendly. We did lots of beach walking. There is a nice little bay not far up where we had a nice swim. There is also a good little pizza place a short walk along the beach, which is only open on Weekends but has a beach volleyball court and shaded areas to sit and look at the view - it is called Sol Wata Beach Club. Eva and Fiona helped us a lot with any queries we had. The gardens and grounds were immaculate. We would be very happy to stay here again. One thing all of us girls would have loved would be if they had a second wardrobe in the rooms (there is room) - the existing one does not hold maxi dresses and is not big enough for 2 peoples clothes.
GGuest UserWe picked Erakor Island Resort for our secret elopement. We wanted a low fuss wedding and relaxing stay and Erakor handled everything and offered a great package. Beautiful location, wonderful staff, plenty of activities, great food, awesome room, I can't fault it. The fact that you basically have this whole island to yourself (and other guests) is so cool. Don't be daunted by the ferry, it's so easy to get to and from the mainland and the staff will take good care of you mo matter where you want to go. We travelled just after Vanuatu reopened to tourists and realised we had struck gold after speaking to other travellers. We met SO many people who were either staying at other locations and switched to Erakor because they weren't happy with their previous hotel, or were staying at another place and travelling to Erakor every day for the restaurant because their hotel didn't offer good food. When we arrive, the country's tourism industry seemed to be on a soft restart, which is completely understandable given it was shut down for a number of years, but you'd never know it with Erakor. They were back up and ready to go as if they never stopped operating. Getting married there was a dream and Erakor will forever be close to our hearts and part of our story. 100% going back!

EExplorer21994274015Spent one month at Nasama resort and had a wonderful experience throughout, the friendly staff definitely helped make that happen. My room was spacious (really nice big bed), clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor area viewing over the pool and beach. I did have one small problem with my wardrobe door one day but Gigi from the maintenance team swiftly came over and sorted it for me with a big smile on his face. I was also lucky enough to come across a dugong whilst out for a swim in the sea right in front of the resort one day, it was absolutely incredible!! Chef Ronnie at Cafe Vila restaurant delivers exceptional dishes for breakfast and dinner whilst the restaurant itself offers a relaxed ambience and good service. Three Pigs restaurant provides great food at a reasonable price in a cool bar like atmosphere. They also makes really nice drinks!! I miss my stay at Nasama and hope to be able to visit sometime again in the future.
GGuest UserThe view of the hotel is very good. The buffet in the morning can only be regarded as average, and the dishes ordered in the evening are not bad
NNancy TaoukWe stayed at 5 different Resorts in Port Vila Vanuatu and this was by far our favourite! Immediately when arriving in the lobby you will be wowed, the location and resort is incredible. The staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic. There are so many on-site facilities and water equipment to take advantage of and the Lagoon is a great place to swim or even take a boat ride through. We didn't want to leave, this place is definitely a little haven and wr are 100% staying here next time we're back in Poet Vila. Thank you Warwick Le Lagoon, you are SUPERB to say the least, love how much the people here really value the guests. You feel appreciated and welcome here and it's great 👍 😁
