We loved our stay. Feels almost like home. Just a few minor things like either no or bad dstv signal for our whole stay. Couldn't even watch 10minutes of anything. It was reported but could not be sorted out. Cleaning checks should be done. Place was clean but not done very well. Parking great. Loved that the shops is so close. Almost everything within walking distance. Maybe a welcome pack explaining ins and outs of the place could be placed in the apartment.

Stayed for 2 nights in this fabulous hotel overlooking the Hermanus Coast with coastal walks in both directions. We drove up and car parking was free and secure on site. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and looked after extremely well with all staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an Ocean View Room with a spacious bathroom, huge comfortable bed and pleasant seating area. Service came with lots of complimentary touches! We decided to eat in the restaurant on the first night and the food was so good we also went back on night 2. Special mention to Sharon who looked after us so well on both nights. Breakfast was included in our stay and we were amazed at the level of choice and how delicious all the food was. We loved it here and if/when we visit Hermanus again we would definitely stay here.

I liked Baleia. Friendly staff and check-in, even when we were a bit late. Rooms were big and had everything needed. Location and breakfast were good. The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for other guests in the future.

What a find! From arrival to departure, we loved every minute. We were staying in the hineymoon suite. Large and comfortable, with AMAZING views. So comfortable. Breakfast great. Fresh fruit, delicious yoghurts and bakes. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Dining room overlooking the pool and oceon. Hosts VERY wrlcoming, and couldn't do enough for us. Simpky a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserArrival from Cape Town was very straightforward, secure parking at the back of the property. Elizma the host could not have been more helpful, she messaged before we were due to arrive to ask if we would like a dinner reservation and a whale watching boat trip. Both were fantastic. Breakfast was probably about the best ever, we are both vegetarian, Elizma cooked and baked the most amazing variety and quantity. Room was very large, comfortable and with a good shower, lovely outdoor space. Easy and beautiful walk into the town, loads to see and do. We walked the full length of the cliff path and were lucky enough to see whales from the shore. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Thank you for a truly wonderful 3 night stay.

GGuest UserWhen staying in Hermanus we look no further than the Boutique Guest House. Mariane has a great team who deliver consistent and friendly service at all times. We loved the complimentary wine early evening in the stylish lounge and the buffet breakfast choice was excellent plus hot food cooked to order.Only ten minute walk to shops and restaurants and Ficks Pool across the road is so handy for lunch or evening drink and snack. Thanks to the team for a brilliant and relaxing 6 days for the four of us

Stayed for 2 nights in this fabulous hotel overlooking the Hermanus Coast with coastal walks in both directions. We drove up and car parking was free and secure on site. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and looked after extremely well with all staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an Ocean View Room with a spacious bathroom, huge comfortable bed and pleasant seating area. Service came with lots of complimentary touches! We decided to eat in the restaurant on the first night and the food was so good we also went back on night 2. Special mention to Sharon who looked after us so well on both nights. Breakfast was included in our stay and we were amazed at the level of choice and how delicious all the food was. We loved it here and if/when we visit Hermanus again we would definitely stay here.

The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in.
The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool.
Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet.
Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.

HHannah CompionThe hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from Ficks Pool and a short walk from the main shops. The hotel upgraded us to a balcony sea view room and we received complementary wine. The room was beautiful, very clean, with dstv and netflix services available. We also had a bathtub and a lovely balcony view. During load shedding the main lights remained on and the wifi was still active. The staff was also very kind and professional.

GGuest UserI liked Baleia. Friendly staff and check-in, even when we were a bit late. Rooms were big and had everything needed. Location and breakfast were good. The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for other guests in the future.
