Grandi potenzialità. Negli anni 70 del secolo scorso. Da allora tutto è cambiato e le 3 stelle sono solo un lontano ricordo. Igresso residence fatiscente, sporco e disordinato con staccionate rotte e roba ammucchiata ovunque. Porta della stanza che non si apre per l'umidità e che da su un piazzale pieno di spazzatura che emette tanfo niente male. In camera: 3 faretti su 4 bruciati, una simpatica famiglia di ragni con rete condominiale, luce della scrivania penzolante attaccata solo per il cavo elettrico, termici dell impianto stanza con copertura di sicurezza rotta, doccia sporca e incrostata con soffione mezzo otturato, water pure, lenzuolo con buco e macchie, abatjour arrugginite e con qualcosa che potrebbe essere muffa, ventola di aspirazione del bagno non funzionante, aria condizionata non funzionante e nemmeno una bottiglietta d'acqua presente. Sporcizia e disordine ovunque.

If I coud give 0 stars I would. The photos completely mispresent the hotel - it is deserted, reception is locked, grounds terrible, broken windows etc. Guests are asked to check in to the Mercure (opposite- very tired but clean and habitated) and if you don't want to stay at the Baia del Sole they offer you a discounted rate to stay at the Mercure. DON'T book this hotel - it's a disaster. We took these photos of the hotel in August 2023.

Our room was generally clean. The toilet was badly stained. The bathroom lighting above the sink & mirror did not work. The TV worked electrically but no programming was available.
The electric heat pump did not work so we had no heat and the room was cool. We managed with extra blankets on our bed at night. I informed management but it was not fixed during our one night stay.
We enjoyed the free breakfast. The price & quality of the evening dinner was good.

It was a basic room with no real amenities- except breakfast - which was fine for what we needed. It was strange to not have a lobby with a staff member in it. But it was clean and comfortable.

Several issues with this hotel. First of all ....town is not equipped to handle some days of 10,000 cruise ship passengers in and out. Taxis are scarce to anywhere except port. Hotel is 2.5 km walk from train, which is fine but hard to navigate with luggage. Hotel is extremely dated and not well kept. Go to the hotel across the street for check in and any issues. Decent wifi. Swimming pool under construction. Room dusty and dated. Terrace nice with exactly one cheap chair to sit in.

The place /facilities was misrepresented in your ******* App , the place looks abandoned , no singage scary we've been going back and forth looking for the reception area , on the address the hotel name is Sunset bay to finally we found we have to check in at Mercure hotel across Baia hotel and walk 500 ft towing our luggages at 2 pm on gravel , the only positive comment is that the AC was working .

This property does not have a front desk on site. Building/property feels and looks abandoned! Felt very unsafe. Not sure why they are renting rooms here! ******* should send someone to see this place! Breakfast is a bad joke!

The property have area for a nice area for walking, a beautiful ocean view, a coozy dinner.
The facility needs to improve better cleaning, the srea has a clay tennis court and there was a lot dust in the outside.

Let me say our room was clean and the AC worked.
But…the in room phone and the safe didn’t. There was no fridge, and no glasses. The room door scrapped along the floor. At the main building, the terrace restaurant was beautiful looking out over the sea. Food was delicious, but twice they put dishes in front of me I didn’t order. Then brought our two orders and put them down opposite to who ordered them. The Hotel Manager was unfriendly and butt’s in when my wife was dealing with the desk clerk, no “excuse me” or apology. The pool cost €10 per person, not mentioned in *******, and wasn’t very clean, with garbage, spent water balloons and cigarette butts strewn about. They don’t supply towels unless you brought bath towels from your room, which my wife went back to retrieve, as that was never mentioned. Where we stayed was on an adjacent property, not where you check in, so a fair walk to partake in a disappointing breakfast, as well. The Bar is two couches and two arm chairs with no AC and no ceiling fans. I rated this property as Poor, which was only saved by the clean room, AC and delicious dinner on a beautiful terrace. Overall…👎.
