Cozy accommodation basically for the weekend we spent in Cape town 3-Feb to 5-Feb. Very friendly and accommodating manager provided secure parking overnight. Room was reasonably comfortable and clean. Bathroom and toilet good although shower drainage could be better. This accommodation lacked provision of breakfast however several coffee shops were accessible in adjacent streets. The Pottery studio was a fascinating experience to enjoy pottery and artwork which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, highly recommended accommodation at a very reasonable price.

Great stay Good value in Claremont . Pleasant location in a quiet leafy street..Good room and facilities Pleasant service.Used street parking and was safe in a quiet street. Pottery studio adds to the ambience

My friend and I stayed at the John Bauer Pottery Studio and B&B when we came down to Cape Town. The B&B was decorated brilliantly with art an pottery everywhere you looked. The shared areas were always clean and neatly kept and Gail was extremely welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the pottery studio for two nights. The room was comfortable and clean. While I did have a private bathroom it wasn't en-suite, which was a bit awkward in a shared house, but the bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff were very very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place for those just looking for somewhere to sleep but not for those wishing to spend time at the residence.

The location is safe as well as the house.Clean and friendly staff.You must look forward to buying a very unique porcelain gifts for yourself and others.Walk to great food places too!Going back soon! !

We chose the accommodation for its location. It was close to shops restaurants and road links. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. We also had the use of the main kitchen. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The accommodation was good value for money.

John and his wife made our stay an absolute delight. Upon arrival we learned that John's wife upgraded us, initially I requested 1 room with 2 beds with onsuite,and she gave us 2 rooms for my brother and myself. Everything was clean. Location was near Cavendish which was great and the evening we went to a show and it was 2min away from the venue. Thank you John and wife we will definitely be seeing you soon
