I recently stayed at this Sleep Inn while attending the Ralph Stanley Hills of Home Festival. Overall, the stay was very good, but here were opportunities. First, the hotel was clean and in good condition. The room was fine; however, the air conditioner was set so that you could not turn it down. Secondly, all of the employees that I encountered were outstanding. Everyone was very nice, good attitudes and very helpful. That includes those working the front desk, the breakfast area and the housekeepers. Absolutely no complaints with anyone. However, the areas that could improve include the parking situation. Coming back late at night, there were not enough parking spaces for all of the cars and no outward direction on where to park. There were trailers in spots and cars in areas that they should not have been. Additionally, the free breakfast selection was not the best. The items were not labeled and there was no alternative milk option for the coffee drinkers. As to a muffin or a Danish, the only thing available was a wrapped banana muffin. While I know the breakfast was free, and the area was clean and well kept, the selection was not very good. Overall, it was a nice visit, and it was the only hotel around that area. I would stay here again, and will when I return to the festival next year.
