I loved my stay here. The accommodations, amenities, location, everything was just perfect. All of the staff were so kind and sweet as well and made my visit that much more enjoyable. I didn’t want to leave and I definitely plan to be back for a visit.

We loved this place. Great beach, the restaurant is right on the sand (but sheltered)…the staff was so helpful and kind. We had a bungalow by the beach—it was cute, clean, the beds and linens comfortable. Hard not to feel peaceful here. We will return.

We stayed a week in a larger bungalow with a kitchenette. Very comfortable, nice to have some fresh air through screened windows along with air conditioning. The garden is beautiful but not very breezy, we spent more time at the beachfront restaurant than on our bungalow deck. Very friendly and helpful staff, great cocktails and sunset views, perfect access to Playa Carmen.

The best in Santa Teresa! I did everything..massage,yoga, functional, eat in the restaurant, smoothie in a bar…thanks guys for your professional service…one special thanks to Luna for the great functional class🙏🏼 Even if you are not a guest from the hotel you are welcome for using the service and you feel out from all the caos from Santa Teresa..quiet and lovely place to be!!

Great property on a beautiful beach. The grounds, pool and yoga platforms were very well maintained. Restaurant had great variety and everything was delicious. We asked to change rooms to a beachfront location and staff was very accommodating.

What a gem of a unique hotel! I have stayed here multiple times and it just keeps getting better. They are located under the canopy where the jungle meets the ocean. It is absolutely beautiful to walk the small gravel paths that run through the property. So peaceful and with hammocks everything. If you look up you will see the monkeys that live there. The sunsets are the best this world traveler has seen. Now onto what makes this place extra special…the people that great me every year. The loveliest group of people I have met. It starts with Andry and Alejandra at the front desk. Andry I want to wrap up and take home with me. So sweet. Alejandra gave us some restaurants to try in Puerto Viejo. He was spot on. Enough can not be said about the restaurant staff. It starts with Mama in the morning making sure we are eating a good breakfast. The guys working in restaurant have won my heart. Jefferson,Miguel,Bryan, Bairon, Brandon, Juan and Jorge all really care and take the best care of you with a smile on their face and their kind hearts showing. And it all comes down to Marcella who became hotel manager in the last couple years. She has made improvements that only make this special spot even more special. I have watched her with her staff and they work beautifully together. And on top of being a hard worker her kindest shines in her beautiful face. Between the beautiful setting and beautiful people you can not go wrong staying here.

The location is gorgeous, food is amazing, the staff is the kindest, happiest, sweetest group of people! Our room was beautiful, only drawback was I didn’t pack enough tropical, light weight clothes. The massage I I received at the spa was stellar. Loved my stay.

We wanted a beach location while staying in Santa Teresa, and Tropico Latino met our needs perfectly! Our room was large and bright with a totally handy kitchenette. The restaurant was great and the menu has a bunch of great salads, among other things! The greens come from the hotel’s own organic garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and I loved it here and will be back!

Lovely,helpful staff, nice location. Very good beds, comfortable rooms that need updating...e.g. bathroom was old and moldy in places, shower didn't work well--low pressure, half the water came out of the tub faucet. No blackout curtains. Good a/c. Pool is smaller than it looks on the website, nice but not for lap swimming. Some oddities: the "gym" is not available except if a trainer is hired, also, has no treadmills (it's insanely hot so outdoor running presented a challenge). Also, beware the Howler monkeys: they love to throw their feces and ruin the hammock experience. Breakfast is fine, didn't eat there otherwise.
