Absolute perfect! Owners made you feel so welcome. Ideal location to visit the Lakes, also central to local pubs and restaurants on the High Street. Free Parking. Definitely recommend. All personal touches were lovely ie homemade soap, perfume to try. Very clean.

We stayed for two nights and were absolutely stunned with the quality from start to finish.The tasteful decorations are supplemented by thoughtful facilities from small fresh milk bottles to comfortable beds in a quiet location a few meters from the town.A special word for the excellent breakfast absolutely fantastic tasteful , grease free a real joy.We will be back without doubt excellent value particularly with free parking.

We booked the Croft for a family wedding weekend and stayed an extra night! Dave and Glenis are lovely, welcoming, and friendly. This guest house is an immaculate little gem! Superb breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Great shower, beautiful decor throughout. We even came away with some of Glenis' home made preserves and candles...amazing!

Can't fault it. Wonderfully looked after by our hosts Dave and Glenis. Quiet, comfortable room, excellent breakfast and very reasonably priced. Shame we couldn't stay for longer to explore the area more. We'll have to return!

This is a large terraced house in the centre of Cockermouth and is ideally placed for exploring the town on foot. It is fortunate to have a few parking spaces too. There are a variety of room options. We chose the biggest room which had a queen size bed and it also had a large en suite too. There was good storage in the room although the built in wardrobe was a little awkward to get into. The en suite was actually a full sized bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and sink and loads of room. Very nice. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereal and granola including gf granola which my wife enjoyed very much. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order (you had to pre-order it the previous night) and Glenis had a daily special which I have never seen in a B&B before. I would highly commend this guest house. It is not cheap but in this life “you gets what you pay for “ and you get comfort and quality with the Croft.

Our second stay at Croft for family visit in the area and this time was as good as the first time. The rooms are really well appointed and the décor is immaculate. The breakfast is lacking nothing for choice and is very well cooked and presented. The Croft is a B&B and it does both to perfection.
